Duration addons are a must imo

Either the green one or the yellow and brown one combined. You can do it without them but you'll really feel it in your ability to chain hits

Other addons worth running are the yellow and green pins. Stab wound and Franks mixtape are completelly useless unless you want to meme. And the Killer Instinct range increase hurts more then it help IMO

For perks i find PGTW a must but you can do without if your confident in your ability to keep pressure. New Ruin is also pretty good on Legion but it's a gamble if the totem stays up.

Blood echo is really good to prevent dead hard and sprint burst to mess up your chain hits

Discordence to know what gen to pressure most and where the most survivors are to allow for chain hits

Infectious Fright cause if they refuse to heal you can gain massive snowball potential for slugging and downing them all around you

Thanatafobia is also pretty good as it scares survivors into healing. The time you get from it is little but it's very easy to activate on Legion

Other then that chase perks like enduring+spirit fury or bamboozle because after you injure them with frenzy the last hit all comes from your m1 skills

Nemesis and dark devotion is also pretty good to get some sneaky hits

I guess it's controversial but I love to run Nurses Calling on Legion. People need to heal frequently against Legion so you'll end up finding people often. If they try the just mend and no heal tactic, everyone will be one hit down regardless. It's win-win. but my personal build for Legion is Nurses, Thanataphobia, Sloppy Butcher, and Ruin. Thana and sloppy work well together to slow down the game even after Ruin is popped, then you use Nurses to find people. If you NEED BBQ then I'd swap out Nurses.

Yes nurses is also pretty good dispite what people say

Bassicly anything that allows you to chase better or be able to catch survivor off guard will do wonders

Been running Spies from the Shadows for a couple of games and it also pretty often lets me find injured survivors in a deadzone

I'm all ears is pretty handy. I know Otz swears by it, EXPECIALLY on Legion. I've tried slotting it into my Legion build, and as long as you have LOS blockers...you can make good plays with it.

Can you tell my why he likes that perk? I can't watch his videos, he's annoying to me 😅

  • Member Posts: 8,967

You ok with watching a short clip of a video then? I'll find a segment where it gets put into play.

  • Member Posts: 243

    I suppose! Haha

  • Member Posts: 8,967

That video has plenty of examples, but 9:45 and 11:20 show some REALLY good plays that highlight the perk.

  • Member Posts: 243

Wow, I must have either misread the perk or remembered it incorrectly. I thought it was rushed actions OUTSIDE of your terror radius. I watched both of those examples and it does seem good. Definitely going to give it a try, thanks :D

  • Member Posts: 8,967

Pretty sure it originally was, but it got changed like a week after release due to how useless that is. Since the majority of your chase time as Legion is against injured survivors, you only need to get 1 cheeky hit in, making the perk work really well on him.

  • Member Posts: 243

Gotcha. I haven't unlocked it for legion yet but I'm in queue to try it on ghostly boi which is actually my main along with legion.

  • Member Posts: 449

Nurses can be good, BBQ I almost always use on legion. I had been using blood echo, however I misunderstood hemorrhage for mangled. Then there's also thanatophobia which is possibly the best perk used on legion. And I don't mind a little bit of surge since most of the time you'll run into a survivor after hitting them they'll be injured. Power recovery addons are good for Legion, though I do like broken pin as well since if other survivors aren't within your terror radius you just want to end your power, hit them then hook.

Its also really good on Nurse and Spirit.

8:50 is a good example of why its good on Spirit.

  • Member Posts: 7,976

Bassicly a lot of perks work really well on Legion, just avoid the exposed ones and experiment with what you like

I'm going to try Beast of Prey a bit after seeing how well the dark devotion undetactable status helped get cheeky hits

Not sure how well it's going to work but i'll never know until i try

Nurses Calling, BBQ, Hex: Devour Hope, Bamboozle.

  • Member Posts: 1,352

I've recently been running Enduring, Brutal Strength, Fire Up, and Bamboozle. I don't think I'd call it a good build, but it sure is fun as hell

  • Member Posts: 2,210

Add-ons,I usually take power recovery and duration. Perks, thanatophobia, dying light, ruin (rip now so I guess pop/huntresses lullaby/corrupt) and nurses calling/b&c. Really strong

You still use m1 to down them

I personly would only run it in a slug build but it can work normally as well

  • Member Posts: 44

i use this at rank 1 and usually get a 4k

    ruin, pgtw, dying light, thana

for addons i usually use defaced pin and either the sketch book or mural

Does Unnerving Pressence work with iridescent button?

  • Member Posts: 624

That's about as good as it's going to get. Legion is one of the few killers I would bother with dying light on because it doesn't matter if the obsession gets a free botany knowledge when you can frenzy everyone.

Maybe dump ruin for corrupt intervention.

  • Member Posts: 1,503

I personally think the best build for Legion is Adrenaline, Spine Chill, Inner Strength, and F—wait, Legion is a Killer? I thought this game just let 5 Survivors queue to one lobby.

  • Member Posts: 624

You gotta be kidding me. Legion is one of the most faceroll killers in the game. You literally get a free injury every time you see someone.

You must struggle for your entire whopping M1 hits.

Try playing wraith to actually get good at the game.

  • Member Posts: 1,503

Yeah, I got to admit, when I go against Legion, it’s very hard to hold W.

  • Member Posts: 624

If you can't get an M1 hit on an injured survivor, you are just getting outplayed. There's so many free win maps with legion.

  • Member Posts: 1,503

Like I said, man, I agree with you. I find it really difficult to counter Legion; holding W is really difficult.

  • Member Posts: 624

I am sure you are one of those fools who is chasing someone through god-windows, not even knowing they are god-windows, because you are still that noob. It is ok, you will improve with time.

  • Member Posts: 1,503

Patience, young grasshopper. One day the power of the W key will come to you. Perhaps if you wish to counter Legion when he’s not in his Frenzy, you can even master the secret art of basic mindgames. A surprising feat, I know, but I believe in you.

  • Member Posts: 7,976

It does work, as do other terror radius based perks like the clown one

I wouldn't recommend Unnerving Pressence though because when you face survivors who can hit great skillchecks, you're actually helping them

  • Member Posts: 30

dying light, pop, thanat, blood echo

    pop, ruin, bbq, thanat/IAE/bamboozle

My 2 personal most favorite Legion builds are simple and dont require Ruin, already adjusted for the new patch^^. However I have to admit that new Ruin is REALLY good on Legion becase you have a easy time forcing survivors away from gens and mend. So new Ruin is STILL a good option on Legion.

    Aggressiv chase build:

BBQ, Spirit Fury, Enduring and Pop

Dont use any fatigue cooldown addons such as Cold Dirt or Joe's Mixtape, Enuring is basicly a replacement for the addon, hard to believe but there are still many survivors that stuns you while you are in the fatigue stun in a pallet xD With enuring you skip basicly that 5 sec stun.

    Sneaky Build:

BBQ, Pop, Tanathobhobia, Monitor and Abuse

Monitor makes you more deadly because you suprise survivors more easily with your lower terror radius AND in chase you have a bigger Terror Radius, that means you see with Killer Insticts even further, Monitor is the perfect perk for Legion. You force everyone to stay injured and then get sneaky insta downs with Monitor, this build works especially well at small maps like Lerys, Hawkins etc.

Perks that work awell well on Legion are:

Discordance, Blood Echo, Bamboozle, Brutal Streangth, Dying Light, Nurses, I am All ears, Infectios Fright, Dark Devotion, New Ruin

    Good Build aswell is:

BBQ, Tana, Dying Light and Pop

The ultimate anti gen build, that build doesnt work always well because if you are unlucky and you get a good survivor map such as Coldwindfarm and you need really long to get your first down while 3 gens already are finished, then this build kinda failed. But if you manage to get really fast downs, then this will carry you alot. With Frenzy you have a especially easy time findining specific survivors, if you hit the obession just leave him because of Dying Light, and then run around and try to find other injured survivors, really comfturable and fun.

You can have a lot of fun with Blood Warden. Chances are survivors are already wounded once, and while teabagging, won’t be expecting it. Down your victim, and if it isn’t open already, open a door. And hook for a safe 1 minute and watch them panic when they realise.

If you want to be especially evil, If near the downed survivor, and end game is ticking, the others are most likely in a bush watching. Don’t hook until the EGC timer is half down, then all remaining survivors will likely time out before the exits open again. You’ll get a lot of salt for that 😈

  • Member Posts: 7,976

Yeah, been using an end game build of bamboozle, fire up, brutal strenght and bloodwarden.

It's mostly for the memes but it can be surprisingly effective at times

Hey so I'm not sure why but Otzdarva used to annoy me and I wouldn't watch his videos. Maybe he had a video or two that wasn't that good and that's all I watched from him. but now I've been watching him a lot. Some of the things he does can still be annoying here and there but his videos have good effort put into them and you can learn a lot of different things. so thanks for getting me to watch him. :D I used to watch tru3ta1ent a lot but it's tough to watch him anymore because he's getting so burned out on the game and obviously needs a break. He's always so salty as of late.

  • Member Posts: 8,967

I use to watch Tru3 alot when I first got into the game, but I know what you mean. Hearing him rant every video about the power role gets old. I now just joke around about how many times he can use the word "optimal". Now days, I tend to stick with Otz, Ohtofu and Fungoose since theyre all knowledgeable, and their videos are pretty informative but WITHOUT the sodium levels that Tru3 puts out.

yh it does ohtofu made a video using it works really well with lullaby
