Tbh I also feel like I escape way too much. The matchmaking with green/purple ranks made it worse.

Based on the devs, the kill rates is only based on the killer’s rank. So if a killer is red rank and 4 survivors are separately yellow and green and purple and red ranks, it still counts as a red rank game. And if they use a mori and gets a 4K, that’s a 4K. If the survivors kill themselves on the hook, that’s probably a 4K for the rest of the team. Too many variables. If you look back to some survivors escape rate stats. The escape rate at rank 1 is 80%. Therefore, even the devs said you shouldn’t draw any conclusions based on those kill rate stats.

Unles survs were potatoes, you farmed them and then let 2 escape lol

It won't. 2 kills is a depip for a killer. It will change tactics but not the outcome.

Also, the average of 75% kill rates is just an outlier. The actual average kill rate is 10%. And if you average the average, you'll get -50% kill rates. Half the games the killer also escapes.
