Hope you had low hopes for nurse sadly
Sadly we got confirmation now nurse is where they want her for now..sad because I've never seen any developing team happy a characters play and win rate plummeted so hard...as someone who loved nurse it really sucks to hear that that's all they have to say...guess all we can do now is see if theres some grand plan in the works..because I was kind of hoping without ruin being a threat we'd see something for nurse..wishful thinking as it turns out

She's pretty pitiful in her current state. Extremely rare to see a Nurse now and when I do she gets completely destroyed.

I just have a ton of fun in these threads. People who were carried by that busted killer and can't do well now that you actually need to be good at her expose themselves quick.

I used to have fun trying to play her on console. I rarely 4k'd with her or anything, but blinking was fun and a challenging mechanic to try to master.
Playing as her isn't fun, anymore. It's a chore.
I plan to play as her again at some point, memeing around not blinking (and no, not using the movement speed add-on), but lately I've been more focused on earning BP and less on doing dumb crap that earns nothing.

I understand having fun with a lot of the goofy comments on these forums, but you shouldn't do that while at the same time adding your own goofy comments to the fire. Carried by nurse? You do realize she was/is the one killer that required a lot of getting use to and skill to use? Now if you want to say people are getting carried by freddy that is fine. He is extremely powerful and requires very little skill to play well. Nobody was carried by nurse though. If you dominated with nurse it's because you put the time in to be able to do so.

TIL holding W around piles of cars in Autohaven is essentially the intended effect. Her counterplay is hilariously easy now once you see her max 1st blink range. But hey, I guess experienced Nurses like Ardetha are just wrong. Such a bizarre way Nurse gets talked about. No other killer only has the top percentile considered or has the goalposts constantly moved like Nurse.

In my experience - if you relied on addons as opposed to her base kit, you aren't going to do well with nurse. I'd say a lot of nurse mains suffered from this problem. Reliance on addons.
People like Marth, Tru3 etc...they all still rip rectums opened with nurse. It's just a matter of actually being good at her playstyle, and managing your blinks correctly. There's just a less forgiving recovery speed if you mess up a blink.

You have to be really good to do well with Nurse in high ranks now.
And even then, playing her just isn't satisfying anymore.

There’s no doubt she needed a nerf, but I think she just needs her blink cooldown removed. And maybe make the add on that make people scream become Basekit? Also, if they do implement the cool down removal, maybe slightly shorten the blink range? She’s still strong if you can play her well, but she’s just missing that fluidity the her power.

I think that's peoples biggest gripe as well, her fun factor. The cooldown doesn't feel fun, regardless of how strong or weak she is now.

That's a design problem, not a balance one. Because, hint hint, her design is inherently unhealthy.
If something needs to be utterly OP to be fun that's not good design.

I initially had low aspirations to play as her (console player) before the changes and while I understood she could be really strong, I knew personally I wasn't that good with her. That said, I still occasionally played her for fun, even getting a couple Kills or getting a good Blink made me happy. I somewhat practiced with her as I felt I COULD do well with focus, tho Pig and Michael Myers were way more to my style & how I had fun.
The changes came, with no regard to console players (whom I feel suffer from the changes a bit more) and, in my experience, how little she as played or seen. I played about a dozen games with the changes and I just...didnt have fun at all, even in a "I know I'll prob suck in this match, but give it my all" attitude...I couldn't gleam any fun of it....so I jus ended up trolling and "farming" with Survivors during that time's event. Every player I was matched with seemed to understand and pity me as Nurse and weren't really afraid when seeing me...VS when I'd be literally any other Killer.
Even looking at the DBD players I follow on YouTube, none of em have any Nurse videos recently. Maybe there are God Tier Nurse players out there, maybe some do very well...but the big takeaway is that a LOT of players...just aren't having fun with her on multiple levels.

You are not alone. Her blinks and post-blink lunges are completely broken right now. Dedicated servers and her rework introduced so many gamebreaking bugs to her. To the point that ######### hurts her more than the actual nerf itself.

I watched Tru3 get absolutely wrecked today. But for the most part I agree. They play well with any killers. But they both also show that good survivors destroy any killer.

Pre nerf nurse barely broke 50 percent..now nobody dares play her but the veterans and even then her kill rate is still the lowest..all I need to see to know what everyone says and has proven on streams over and over is true..

No because shes only seen performing against mediocre survivors or are using the best addons she has..which is what is annoying..her entire strength is now in addons and now she wastes free chase time which translates to free gen time

You needed 2 blinks to correct for the sluggish controller responses, I was learning her on console but she just spends far too much time stunned now to make it feel worth the trouble. Kinda like how oni has a huge cooldown on everything related to his power and I swear feels like he moves at 4.2

Totally correct, she just doesn't work reliably on console and you can't even develop the muscle memory since the time/distance calculation seems different whenever you hit the trigger

Doesn't change the fact that she is simply unfun to play. What is the point of a strong killer is she is unfun? Survivors get changes all the time, because they were unfun before. The Nurse's fun.factor got downgraded.

BHVR have adopted the LOL standard where they change anything that seems to be "the meta" or used to much.
I'm guessing they've never actually played either 1. their own game or 2. LoL.

Well i posted a question in Q&A wanna bet it is gonna be ignored? :> On the one hand "we need to balance for less than 0,1% of players" on the other uh the frustration of learning how to hit a great skillcheck.
Ya i thought i would play freddy or other killers, but no i dont want to. Simply gonna play other games, april cant come fast enough.
