If you experience any kind of issue while playing the game, you can report it to us in this section of the forums: Bug Reporting — BHVR
For Dead by Daylight Mobile reports, please use the Help and Support button found in the Options menu in-game.
Search First
Please be sure to search for your issue before making a new report! Duplicate posts make it harder for us to keep track of bugs. If your issue has already been reported, voting the post up will help ensure that we see it.
Creating a Report
To create a report, click the "New Report" button - pictured below - at the top of the sidebar (desktop) or at the bottom of the page (mobile).
Next, give your report a title. Remember, other people will need to search for your title. Try to keep it short and as clear as possible so other people can find it and vote it up if they are also having the same issue.
Please report only one bug at a time. If you need to report a second bug, please create a second bug report.
Finally, fill in the description of the issue with as much info as you can provide. Here are some things you may want to include:
- A brief description of your issue
- The platform you are playing on
- How often this issue occurs
- How to reproduce this issue (if possible)
- (PC) Your log file, if you are getting an error message or crash (click here for instructions on getting your log file)

Once you click the save button, your report will go live.
Report Statuses
Each report will have a status. These statuses will let you know whether or not we've seen the bug yet, and they may also be used to ask for more info when needed. Here's an example of what the status will look like inside of a post:
Pending: This report has not yet been reviewed by someone from BHVR.
Need more info: We have reviewed this report, but we don't have enough info to record it. Check the status to see what sort of info we need!
Acknowledged: We have seen this report and started to investigate internally. Please note that this does not mean that the bug is fixed; finding out what's causing a bug and fixing it can take a while, the report is just the first of many steps.
Duplicate: This issue has already been reported and have been flagged for deletion. (Please be sure to search for your issue first and upvote the existing report instead!)
Upvotes
You can upvote a bug that you're also experiencing to help make sure that we see it. To do so, click the white arrow seen in the picture below:
Voting up bugs that you're also experiencing has a couple advantages:
- It lets us see how many people are experiencing an issue.
- It saves you time (you don't have to fill out a bug report).
- We can sort bugs to see the most upvoted and make sure they are logged ASAP.
If the bug is set to acknowledged, feel free to continue upvoting it! Even though we've already seen it, the votes still help us determine how many people the issue is affecting.
Sensitive/Exploitable Bugs
If you believe the issue you're reporting could be exploited to ruin the game for others, please contact support instead of creating a bug report on the forums. This will ensure that we see the issue but it doesn't get exploited by anyone browsing the bug reports section.
