then why pc version are completely subscriptionless? they would have done that there too, so, i'm not paying 20 bucks a year to use basic functions on my system

I mean, it would be nice to know if you could still get the game playable or at least get into the menu without the subscription. And tbh, free games can be played but not paid games? it would be good to know if it's something that nintendo chooses or bhvr does
