  • Thanks for your response! I think there might be a bit of a misunderstanding here. My post isn't about long queue times or trying to hijack matches—it's about the current mechanics in 2v8 and why slugging feels like the most efficient strategy compared to hooking. The bonus survivors get from caging incentivizes killers to…
  • It's pretty hard to hop in a locker when a nurse pops out of thin air, but some people did do that, but it didn't really do much.
  • It would work way better if it applied when someone is sacrificed, that way killers don't get punished for spreading hooks, but instead they get punished for tunneling.
  • The thing is it just doesn't make a big impact if you are getting downs quickly like we are. Yes the survivors managed to pick themselves up multiple times, but by the time that a few slugs are up and running again, another pair of survivors are down, which doesn't really change much. It just keeps going like this until…
  • The main problem with keeping 2v8 as a permanent thing is that the queue times take a heavy blow. Right now it can take up to 20 minutes to find a game as killer and from what i've seen, 2v8 also affects the queue times of classic DBD. Instead they should switch between modifiers faster than what they are currently doing,…
  • At high MMR the game is most definitely survivor sided. A strong team of survivors can throw most killers around in the dirt without breaking a sweat at most times. However the majority of DBD games don't consist of a strong 4man swf with clock callouts and good checkspots to leave the killer in the dust.
  • Plague + Oni would be absolutely diabolical. However Oni on it's own could be quite fun. Another killer I would like to see is Dredge due to his ability to traverse the map fast, and I'm interested in seeing how Nightfall would work.
  • I would personally also like 2v8 to be permanent, but i think the reason why they don't do this, is because it does not only keep the massive queue times, but it also affects the queue times of classic DBD. Instead I think there should be less time between the modifiers that we already have, so that we can get back to 2v8…
