I play both, and I've definitely noticed the increase.

I mean, yeah, no one can stop them. The rest of us can still think it's pretty cringe to go all out on an opponent who isn't trying as hard as they would be normally because they're distracted by the event, though. Especially since it was their whining during last years Halloween event that resulted in the split lobbies in…
-
If you're doing it on first hook, you a butthole. But yeah, I think their are some valid reasons not to want to hang about these days.
-
I would much rather have the candle. I don't even care if it has no mechanical effect. Nothing was more fun than bobbing it up and down at my teammates and the Killer.
-
Fair points, but Killers should still get to chat in the pre-game lobby if they want to.
-
How? You won't have aura reading IRL.
-
Or they could maybe come back to him later? Dunno man, I feel like you're jumping the gun here.
-
Survivor has just not been the most fun like any event. You have the toxic Killers that slug, tunnel and camp as hard as they can, but I've learned to just deal with that. It's the people who are treating this as normal that bother me. Like, after complaining all last year about not being able just play normally, they're…

I keep getting this message when I start the game. I've tried everything that has been suggested in other threads and nothing has worked and even a factory reset has done nothing. I don't know what else to do.
-
I'm mostly just frustrated at people treating the event lobby like it's the normal one. Like, dude, I'm not even trying, how is this even satisfying for you? With Killer, I can bring some slowdown perks so I can focus on the event, but I've had three Survivors matches again a Dracula that tunnelled someone out, two of the…

It's funny, because these kinda thing isn't that uncommon, meanwhile I haven't been able to accesst Dead by Daylight and other games with Easy Anti Cheat for 24 hours just because EAC has decided it doesn't want to open so I can repair it. Wait, did I say funny, I meant infuriating.
-
Any luck with this? I started getting a EAC Client not instantiated before getting the boot, and like I can open Easy Anti Cheat to actually repair or reinstall it. Worse yet, I think my attempt to fix it using old solutions found in "Solved" reports have made things worse, since I can now no longer play Fortnite either.

Until there are ways to communicate in SoloQ what pallets you've used up, WoO can't go anywhere. It's wouldn't even be necessary if BHVR kept bridging the gap between SoloQ and SWF.
-
Pumpkins are random how much they give. Some give 2k, some 500, some 25.
-
Usually I would give myself up to the Killer if it was just two of us, so my team mate could get hatch and we could all move on, but now I daren't risk it because the chance that they'll just slug me for the 4K has increased.
-
That would be more love for Sam than the Tomb Raider devs ever gave her, so, I'm down for it. I also want her classic outfit, though. A proper one, not whatever the hell that is in the store right now. I'd take her edgy Angel of Darkness look too. Modern Lara's outfits kinda bleed together a little.
-
You're thinking to small. Haunted by Daylight should be a PVE Co-Op mode, where Survivors try to fill the Well with Void Juice, and Killers defend them from roaming Haunts that target Survivors.
-
He has a fully modelled face. Capcom just chose to be weird about it in Village. They should just use that. It was silly to hide his face in cutscenes like that, so I'd rather they just drop it.
-
Ethan for Leon, and the outfit that makes Rebecca look like Faith from Buffy are what I want. Also a Santa outfit for Nemesis, that gives Misty and the other Zombie Christmas Elf costumes.
-
How's this then? No hooks, no gens, but Haunts roaming the map, and the Void, hunting Survivors. Survivors need to get Void Essence from the Haunts to put into the Well, but have no means to actually fight them. Or if that doesn't work, have Plague pools with Void Essence in them or something along those lines. Meanwhile,…

It's still a chance, though. That's always going to preferable to zero chance. It feels cheap.
-
I'm not talking about the void specifically. In this events case, it's the complete lack of cooldown on the haunts. Literally everyone else would have pointed out the need for at least a small cooldown, and the fact that remote hooking in the Anniversary even made it past conception is baffling. Remote hooks felt so unfair…
-
It should have though, and too much stuff doesn't cross their mind already. Too many busted mechanics get through the cracks during these events, that any one of us could have said was obviously a terrible idea. They need to playtest these things more.
-
Your opponent has to let that happen. Killers can actively prevent you from engaging with the event if they want to, and most Survivors seem to just want to end the match as fast as possible. Optimizing BP on both sides has been a bit of a pain. I've been head trapping one person at a time as Killer, and just ignoring gens…
-
That's not not an issue with Anti-face camp, it's an issue with Nurse not being suited to DbD, and BHVR refusing to do anything about it.
-
There's a small chance they misjudge, and you break out and bumble onto hatch. That's still something. Once the Mori has started, the game is over for you. I don't want to watch the Mori again. Even Knight and Ghostface's get old after a while.
-
I feel like the problem is that it's just the regular DBD but with side quests. Side quests that are very hard to engage in if anyone is focused on ending the match as quick as possible. If gens pop to fast, or a Killer just constantly interrupts your attempt to engage with the event it ends up feeling like you may as well…
-
For Haunted by Daylight specifically, I was thinking instead of kills/escapes being the goal, it's filling up the well. Still keep hooks/unhooks, chases and gens as a means of gaining void juice, but remove the death states. Have the well slowly empty, and all 5 players job is to fill it faster than it empties with the…

I had to buy a month of Game Pass to even access this and it's a measly 4500 shards. I'm genuinely pissed off. I'm bouncing between fuming anger, and almost laughing that BHVR is so greedy they couldn't even make it an even 5K lol It's mostly anger, though. I didn't even want to make the jump to Steam in the first place,…
