So I see you wrote this post 2-3 month ago. Some days ago I tried playing dbd, but the exact same error appeared too. I also tried to reinstall, fix for broken files, etc. So my question is, has the devs answered you ticket? Could you solve the problem? Can you please tell me? Thanks in advance for you answer.
