I read your post, and I still think it's more fair to provide the bonus and abilities to folks who burned the event offering. It's freeloading to not bring an offering. Plain and simple.

There's absolutely nothing selfish about wanting a system that's fair. People who bring cakes should get the bonus BP and abilities. Most people are getting at least 100K bloodpoints per match during the event if all five people are running cakes. AT LEAST. I definitely encountered that in quite a few of my matches, too, and I don't blame the folks who DC'd. They spared me, I'm sure.

The point is, the anniversary cake should permit somebody to partake in the bonus and be able to get an invitation and the abilities that come with it. If somebody wants to bring some other offering... cool. Let them. But they shouldn't be rewarded with bonus bloodpoints and abilities for being greedy and relying on others.
