My guy, survivors not fighting back is just gameplay mechanics, the entity doesn't mind control survivors. We also have character punching wesker, so they can fight back.

Majority of the stuff that happens in gameplay is only gameplay mechanics. Characters are way stronger or weaker in lore or cutscenes. Survivors being able to beat up the killer would he no different from all Survivors escaping the match.
