I don't know why but that made me laugh harder than it should have

Today's been really odd, my survivor games have been far superior than the norm with teammates that have functional frontal lobes as opposed to sandbaggers or immersed troglodytes that never touch a generator, and my killer games have been way easier than what I'm used to. 4K'd every match except the ones that I let…

Cleansing a totem only takes 14 seconds, 21 with thrill (assuming no dull or hex totems have been cleansed already). A single chase lasts about that long assuming the survivor isn't bad or the killer isn't godly.

36 seconds on a regular totem is not feasible, even with two Thrill perks stacked on top of each other. It takes 14 seconds to cleanse a hex totem, with TotH it becomes 21 seconds (after the increase to 50%). Basically a quarter of a gen, which is almost negligible considering the fact that about two survivors can be on a…

Half a gen with no great skill checks, toolboxes, or perks is 40 seconds. The time needed to bless (not cleanse) a totem, with none cleansed/blessed already and Thrill in use (and no survivor perks at play) is around 36, so less than half a gen.

That would make sense, if the perk in question was Tinkerer. Gens are the primary goal of all survivors until there's only one of them left, Thrill of the Hunt exclusively allows side/optional objectives to be protected by its usage, meaning the killer could be dropping a potential hook and gen delay to protect a…
