I imagine a permanent aura reveal of yourself to all injured survivors (like a reverse empathy) could have its uses, especially for certain archive challenges in solo.

ODDFELLOWS by DrTanner my beloved
-
Smartphone, actually, which makes for a helpful comparison! For the same amount of energy that you used to create that soulless husk of an image, I managed to: book holiday from work, listen to music going to and from work, also pick up my coworker on the way so used maps while I was at it, text my partner several times,…
-
Now imagine if you'd used your own artistic merit to make it instead of using a small countries energy supply and a tool which has scammed and scraped millions of genuine artist's work for this soulless wreck 😍😍

Reports are confirmed by former employees btw that the Seattle office has been shut down "following a diligent risk assessment" (lol). Comes despite playtest results being "almost entirely positive", with one former staff member claiming that the feedback gave it 92/100 in terms of fun and replayability. Absolutely…
-
They can, which is where the fun of predicting them comes from. You don't use the aura to aim where they are, you use it to see how they play and then adapt your own playstyle to that. That's what makes it fun.
-
Layoffs this year in the industry have been insane, and there are reports (I have no official sources, just reports) that the entire Midwinter studio has been shut down following Project T being cancelled. BHVR bought this studio back in 2022, and now if the reports are to be believed that's yet another talented group of…

fun fact, i made a custom dbd x silent hill 3ds theme using this song because i was that sad it wasnt used in-game lol
-
If it's BGM you're after may I present the full Akira Yamaoka remix
-
I mean, Silent Hill is just never being beaten I'm afraid. Akira Yamaoka himself remixing everything was insane, but the Silent Hill lobby music is just too good. Michel F April collabing with Akira Yamaoka was the best things to happen to DBD music and this is a hill I am willing to die on. I may be biased because I main…

Wraith's entire power involves using your increased lunge post uncloak to shut down loops, get free first hits, and force out pallets. It genuinely feels harder to not get a Surprise Attack than it does to get one in most matches.
-
Okay but Wraith's "Blind Warrior - White" gives it for 70 seconds and is only Rare (and both are fairly easy to trigger) and isn't an issue
-
Legion is enabled and Freddy isn't (regular queue still exists and is honestly better than usual from tonight's games imo)
-
hey maybe the lights were just out
-
i mean
-
I just know Zanshin is gonna go crazy on Pyramid Head lol
-
It's just not that good at being anti-tunnel tbh (i wasnt even trying to tunnel she just happened to be there)
-
Autodidakt, Finesse, Iron Will, + Object of Obsession is gonna go hard
-
I distinctly remember there was a boost, but even when it was bugfixed it still applied roughly halfway through the kicking animation, so by the time you'd accellerated enough to make use of it it had already worn out, which is probably why nobody remembers it. Because it did nothing.
-
Yes, I have used the perk and yes, I think it is useless.
-
1) The point is not that the endurance effect was particularly useful, especially not in chase, because it wasn't a chase effect. MFT was useful both in-chases with the 3% and also one of the best altruistic anti-slugging perks, especially when combined with something like We're Gonna Live Forever. When taken together, it…
-
The issue with MFT was never the 3%, it was the fact that it was 3% on top of an entire extra perk (Endurance after healing). Dark Theory is 1% less and confined to a tiny area, so even if the 3% was the major issue, because movement speed is so fragile 1% can make a difference, so things you would easily make with MFT…

Depleting a serious amount of the worlds resources for a generic roast I could've come up with while severely inebriated. Worth it.
-
Dracula has been out for literally 25 hours lol, Wolf Form is annoying but Dracula overperforming? Let's wait and see.
-
Correct. Which is identical to the stance taken to custom perk icons which if anything helps my stance more because I don't think anyone is calling custom perk icons cheating.
-
Reshade, no, because it isn't given the whitelist. I am sure the developers would be fine with it, because it is identical to Nvidia Freestyle, which they have whitelisted, but I cannot say 100% for sure because of that fact. I would not agree, however, that the whitelisted sentence applies exclusively to communication…
-
Oh, yes, because cheating is defined as acting dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage. BHVR themselves define this as "Using 3rd party software or other tools to gain any kind of unfair advantage that wasn’t intended by the game, except if they have been whitelisted by us. We are not banning for the use of…
-
The reason why it doesn't apply is because filters are not cheats. If there was a program which could do what you said - and was explicitly and repeatedly whitelisted by the developers, including the most recent issues where they say it is not them or Nvidia but EAC - then I would absolutely consider that fair game. And,…
-
Trust me, as someone who is colourblind, the colourblind mode in this game simply does not help. Or, it does help, but it doesn't help enough, especially in comparison to what Nvidia + ReShade offer. And I can sob and beg and pray for better accessibility for everyone, but it took seven years for an FOV slider! I'll be in…
-
Oh, I didn't say anything about not giving his basekit the buffs. I just don't think overdrive is entirely necessary and if all they're doing in the next update is removing it I genuinely don't think he'll be that much worse, and might even be in a better state because it'll stop encouraging overuse of the chainsaw to get…
-
To be honest if the Billy change was just removing Overdrive I still think he'd be totally fine lol. He didn't even need it, he didn't need overheat either, he just needed his animations and collisions fixed.
-
i feel like comparing a 6 month content drought from when the game was less than 2 years old and a return to the 3-month content cycle we had previously from when the game is over 8 years old is not an entirely fair comparison. the general public of DBD like new content, but they are not going to spend money on this new…

When I play Nurse I get flack for being decent at her it's truly a lose lose here 😔😔
-
I actually think the simplicity is a big draw to it. Tried out 2v8 3 days ago because my friend wanted to play, and I had no desire to play by myself, so loaded it up and we went to town. I was on Nurse because she's the only one of the five I know how to play besides Wraith, and my mate went Wraith and Huntress 50/50 so I…

Rework Lights Out to be even darker but in return there's less gens to do/gens take less time and all Survivors spawn with a new item, the Flash Beacon, which has a 20(? probably longer I'm just making it up here) second cooldown. It provides a blinding flash of light, illuminating the surrounding area but also blinding…
-
just as they got a use, too
-
I genuinely would not be surprised, given how spaghetti most of DBD actually is.
-
No, they aren't removed from the web once you hit 10k. I do not believe anyone will be compensated, but Mandy has confirmed the team are planning on increasing it to 20k on live so nobody is actually affected. The running theory is that it was done for server space. With high player turnover, particularly veterans who had…
-
So they've... Changed it to exactly how it was before. Almost like the UI didn't need updating.
-
Lgbt+ people existing and wanting equal protections under the law (and to be recognised by the law in the first place, cough cough the UK cough cough) is not controversial and anyone who finds it controversial needs to do some soul searching, hope this helps 🫶
-
Just jumping in to confirm it is indeed called Safe Mode
-
whatever you say girl this was from the 8.1.0 ptb notes and they've been doing it since 7.7.0.
-
It's to ensure you can enjoy everything on the PTB as if it were live, without actually giving any currency away, because PTB saves just don't matter. Entirely intentional to get them on PTB, entirely intentional to not have them on live.
-
The sad thing is, if they focused on producing better content less frequently, people would be more incentivised to spend money on skins and other sources of revenue. The more chapters drop within a year, and the lower quality state they're in (I can count the number of good chapters we've had since Project W on one hand)…
-
There is no ethical consumption under capitalism but that doesn't mean you cannot make decisions based on the information available to you at the time, and the morals you currently have.
-
No, it's not necessarily support, but it is sending the message that they don't care enough either way for it to be a dealbreaker, either. When you make a large part of your corporate brand and values that you're an lgbt+ ally, you have certain standards you must uphold, and not collaborating with people who have actively…

we photodump cute and cuddly things
-
So fun fact, this is actually how it works already. If you can get an aura read for more than 10 seconds (I think there's only a few very niche ways to do this, like Nurse's Bad Man's Keepsake add-on, or Legion's Stylish Sunglasses, or combining Larry's Crew Manifest with Lethal Pursuer) then it will take 2 tokens, because…
-
Fun fact, when I started playing DBD, I had been playing online multiplayer games that didn't have a crouching ability, and I didn't even know what t-bagging was! I can, of course, only speak from my own personal experience, but the reason it annoyed me is because it was purposeful BM, not because of what it represents,…

So, fun fact, I have been through the situation described and therefore I make jokes because I have not fully moved on from it, despite it occuring near enough 7 years ago. Forgive me for making the joke, it's the easiest way I have of talking about the subject.
