I’ve always thought it should be a base-kit feature for all maps. It’ll help SoloQ coordinate rescues and gen completion.
-
Hatch is a win for the Survivor that escaped. Just because you don’t agree doesn’t make my ideas bad or your takes right.
-
This is Dbd, fun is not allowed! 😤👹👹👹
-
Then there would be no problem with removing it. From now on once the killer downs the second to last Survivor, the game should just end with the final Survivor getting moried.
-
My point was that you and everyone else who complains about slugging for the 4k are just trying to criminalize the Killer for fulfilling their objective. Just because you think 3k is enough doesn’t mean the Killer player has to and is mean, sweaty or a bully if they choose to slug for an attempt at the 4k. While yes, the…
-
These kinds of perks are what Dbd sorely needs. It’s what made Nick Cage so popular. I hope they follow this trend with perks in the future.
-
The killer is only at fault as much as the hiding Survivor is. If it’s acceptable for the Survivor to hide and try to survive then it’s acceptable for the Killer to slug for the 4K. Doesn’t matter if you consider a 3K is a win, it there is a chance for a player to get a 4K then they’re entitled to that chance, regardless…
-
I never said otherwise. If Killers hate trying to find the last Survivor then they can run Whispers, Iron Maiden or pick anti-stealth Killers to play as. Just like I don’t think Killers shouldn’t be disparaged or shamed for trying to win, I don’t think Survivors should have the same happen to them for trying to survive. I…
-
Slugging for the 4k is not an oversight. Slugging has been sanctioned by the Devs for a long time. It’s an actual core mechanic of the game that buys the killer time to apply pressure on the Survivors. If it was an oversight, there would be no perks of killer powers (Like Twins) that promote it. I’m not looking at it with…
-
It’s not wild. It’s not a kill, it’s a bleed out and the killer loses out on points. It’s just pure entitlement to expect the Killer to play as you want them and have them make things easier on their opponent. And my comparison is equal. Killer takes a risk with slugging and Survivors take a risk with hook swaps and…
-
A power that occupies a survivor but doesn’t down them. Think of The Knights ability to summon a guard and chase the Survivor, only they don’t injure them but instead, keeps them occupied and prevents them from doing objectives for a set amount of time. The killer won’t be able to hurt them when their power is affecting…
-
I don’t know about what you described but I would like some more emotes. I'd like a thumbs up/down emote, a “don’t” emote where they cross their arms and a new Killer T-bag emote so they can stop doing the ridiculous walking back and forth “humping” emote that seems to have spread among them.
-
The Killer loses a hook if the Survivor bleeds out. Also, if the Survivors are good loopers and there’s only one or two gens left, they can still complete them and escape. It doesn’t happen often because most Survivors are bad at looping and because they’d rather just wait for their teammate to die rather than try.
-
The Killer played well, was winning and as a result has the upper hand so their risk is minimized. There’s still the risk of the slug bleeding out, getting picked up or using a perk like Unbreakable.
-
Sorry, I need to be more specific. I don’t think Killers are entitled to 4ks, I think that they’re entitled for the chance to 4K. As long as they use the means that the Devs have provided to them, I don’t think they should be disparaged for trying for it. I don’t think it’s any different from Survivors using whatever means…
-
It is logical since the killer performed well and has a right to try for a 4k. The description is in their title. Let me ask you this, if the gates are powered, someone is on hook and the rest of the team is at full health, are Survivors wrong for going in to rescue the hooked person? Why can’t they just leave? A 3-escape…
-
I think it’s fine. Killer performed well and is entitled at a chance for a 4k. If people want to be mad at someone, be mad at the last Survivor who is dragging the game out by hiding- or is it okay for a Survivor to drag the game out in order to secure a personal win when their team failed?
-
I don’t care as long as it’s Dracula with the lower to summons giant burning meteors.
-
I think he looks great. Maybe put in a little more work to make the metal parts of his attire look a bit more metallic and less plastic-y , but that’s about it. I am disappointed he doesnt summon a Beholder to chase a survivor
-
clown needs a cute ballerina cosmic, tutu and all
-
it’s so much fun 🥰 I was actually getting tired of the game and I decided to use some left over Auric Cells to try Mikey about and it reinvigorated my love for DBD.
-
perhaps
-
if Survivors get a fireball before Nemo gets a rocket launcher and before I get a bush cosmetic I will be very upset.
-
I dunno, the Survivors made it this far and even prepped the door. I don’t think they should be punished for it. Maybe a 5 second regression at the most? Don’t think it’s needed though. If anything, I feel like if the Survuvor stands in the exit gate for more than 15 seconds, getting hit by a killers M1 or M2 should cause…
-
I’m old, have mental health issues that affect concentration and coordination and just no longer have it in me to sweat. With that said, the most fun I have playing killer is when I play as Scratched Mirror Myers. No other killer is like him. You’re not going in to win the game, you’re going in to give people heart…
-
Probably wouldn’t work because SWF but all the Survivors load in as the killer that the Killer player selected. The Killer player has no terror radius. Survivors can attack each other but rather than damage, they get a short speed boost that forces them to run in a straight line kinda like how that one event item that…
-
Anyways, @ the OP, I’d change nothing to the upcoming changes. What I would do is buff Undying to transfer a different hex one more time and if the Undying totem is the first cleansed totem, it gets a free transfer as well. Let killers have a little more variety rather than the usual slowdown stuff.
-
Killers have been getting flamed since I started playing (Stranger Things Chapter). It’s nothing new and it’s a major double standard that Survivor mains have. Survivors can play with the most miserable playstyles killers are told they’re just bad and need to get good. Killers return the favor and “Dbd is dying!” And a…
-
Drizzt Do'Urden and Guenhwyvar are a part of it and that’s all the cool ######### I need.
-
They should have gone for SpringTrap. Would have been much better.🏃💨
-
They gotta please the average player, that’s most important. Don’t worry, if killers start quitting again, queue times take 10+ minutes and their goal of 60%kill rate goes down, they’ll buff killers on the next anniversary! You’ll just have to wait a year.
-
You already have that. It’s called uninstall and having willpower.
-
60 million players? SMH, game is dying!
-
No, it’s fine. Don’t need to weaken a one time situational perk. If it’s that common then run iron grasp and haul them out of the basement to a regular hook.
-
Wraith is good because you’re constantly chasing and he’s simple to understand. I recommend him the most. Trapper used to be a solid choice but even with the minor improvements he’s disheartening to play with when you’re against competent players. Skill Merchant will make things easier for her since someone will almost…
-
They’re waiting for the license holder to agree to allow them to use this wonderful and majestic outfit before they announce any changes: (And yes, I’ll always bring this up when Myers is mentioned-if I remember to)
-
None. As others have said, just because something was buffed on one side doesn’t mean the other needs compensation. It was buffed for a reason. Anyways, in regards to buffing something for the killer side, I want Undying buffed. Doesn’t have to be Original Release version, but at least one more transfer added would be…
-
Yes, BHVR loves killers and are all killer mains. They hate those rascally survivors with a passion. The Twins win rate could not possibly be due to the fact that they have been so rare for survivors to face that most survivors don’t know how to play against them! No, that’s not it at all. It’s also definitely not because…
-
Can’t have a Freddy thread without @GeneralV
-
I just give myself up. My MMR drops a little and I get less sweaty opponents. I also don’t waste time and can go next. Sometimes, the killers nice and decides to let me live and go look for the hiding person.
-
Self Care, Urban evasion, Distortion and Pebble. In all honestly, as long as they don’t equip that basement killer perk that leaves them broken and wastes time, I don’t really care what people run as long as they try to play competently and not just hide behind a rock and let people die.
-
Camping and Tunneling are fine. Killer gives up generator pressure to eliminate one player and even then it’s not guaranteed. Only thing that needs to be done is make it so Bubbi Boi can’t down someone after going through their Borrowed Time. Undying and Circle of Healing nerfs (along with Self Care Nerf) should be…
-
Turn up your volume and listen for his heavy breathing and let go of the gen when you hear it so you don’t get yoinked off. Always try to position yourself to where he can’t sneak up on you. As someone else mentioned, Boon: Shadowstep hard counters him (it’s nice against general killers too since so many use aura reading…
-
Doesn’t matter how others think about it when I’m correct. 👍
-
My assessment is perfectly fine. Get something without paying for it = free. Increasing Value of the product long after the purchase is still giving the consumer something for free.
-
I clarified that I was responding to the title and not their post afterwards. In regard to the claim they made in their title, they are wrong. If you bought something and the company later gives you something that wasn’t originally included, then you received the new stuff for free. Doesn’t matter if it works as a carrot…
-
I know, I just elaborated in case the devs actually consider it.
-
I didn’t consider this, would be hilarious but over kill. Maybe add a stipulation that it wouldn’t teleport to the basement?
-
Hex: Uh Oh. Cleansing a lit totem teleports you directly in front of the killer.
-
Everyone else gave you good advice, I’d like to add on that you should unlock Distortion to hide your Aura from her. It’ll prevent her from sniping you from out of nowhere.
