I’m glad to hear that your holidays went well. Mine were great too! I love that Chucky statue! I can see why it's hard to choose between the two; both are great, in my opinion! Edit: I feel the same way! Chucky is one of my favorite killers… I guess that's easy to see, though. lol
-
I added another Funko POP to my collection today, and I have a couple more on the way. I ordered this one over a week ago, but it was late getting here. I'm just glad it didn't get lost.😆
-
Thank you! It’s something I’ve wanted for a while. I'm a huge Chucky fan and am so glad I received them for Christmas! I hope everything is going well and you have had a wonderful holiday!
-
I apologize for the late reply; I've been busy. I would be terrified to discover that they are missing from their boxes! 😂
-
Thank you! I love them! Haha!
-
Those sound like great gifts! I would love a Freddy pop, and the pillow seems awesome!
-
Hopefully, they will fix him. I have just quit playing the game now.
-
The changes to Chucky need to be reverted. I played him after the nerf, and he feels extremely slow and clunky. Overall, it's a terrible change, and I won't play him again unless these nerfs are reversed.
-
GOOD! No one should defend this broken perk; it needs to be reverted and tested in a future PTB if they want to buff it.
-
Yes, I hope it gets reverted and tested in a PTB if they want to buff it. I believe that would be the best approach.
-
The buff to Thrill is beyond broken. I was testing a full hex build with Devour yesterday, and I managed to eliminate most survivors with little effort. In many of my games, they only cleansed one totem and repaired one generator. It's absurd that some people are defending this. I suppose people will defend it because they…

It would be nice to know if they are already working on fixes for the Houndmaster and how long we will have to wait for these changes to arrive. I've stopped playing her for now because of all the bugs. I can handle a weak killer as long as they're fun to play, but I won't continue playing a killer that is so buggy and…
-
I'm sure there will be changes at some point, but probably not for several months.
-
I believe he's currently a bit too powerful when playing against him, and he can be extremely frustrating. However, I haven't played as him yet (he looks kind of silly), so I try to refrain from sharing my opinions about him too much.
-
She is quite weak, but the most concerning aspect is all the bugs. I suggest waiting to see if she receives bug fixes and possibly a quality-of-life update(s) before purchasing her.
-
I enjoyed playing her on the PTB, despite encountering many bugs. I was excited about the release and hoped that most of the issues would be fixed, but unfortunately, this chapter is a buggy mess. I'm extremely disappointed because this could have been a fun and interesting chapter. They should have delayed the launch to…
-
I typically avoid using the phrase "it's just a skill issue," but it applies when it comes to this killer. The only times I've lost against her are when I’m matched with teammates who don’t know what they’re doing. Currently, she is a fairly weak killer.
-
She is fun but extremely weak. Given how her power works, I'm unsure if she can be improved much; indoor maps are especially challenging. Not to mention how buggy the dog still is, which makes everything feel even worse. I'm disappointed, honestly.
-
Lerys is not a good map for her, haha. I played against a Houndmaster on that map, and she got only 2 or 3 hooks in total while everyone managed to escape. The killer was complaining about the map in the endgame chat afterward, and honestly, I can't blame him! Edit: I forgot to mention that she only managed to get a hit…
-
Do you really think no one is excited because they nerfed an OP addon? I played her on the PTB and had a lot of fun with her. As someone else mentioned, not every killer needs to be extremely powerful or have overpowered addons to be enjoyable to play. I'm hoping they fixed most of her bugs; if they did, I'll be very happy…
-
Making 2v8 permanent would lead to extremely long queue times, potentially lasting for a month or more. This would significantly harm the game during that period. I hope they just remove the mode permanently, but I know that probably won't happen. I have no idea how they can fix the queue issues with 2v8.
-
A map like that would have been so cool. I was sad when I found out there was no map with this chapter.
-
Yeah, there isn't much hype for this chapter, which is disappointing because she is such an interesting killer. Even though she was weak and extremely buggy on the PTB, I love her character design, and I had a lot of fun playing as her. I'll most likely buy her with shards, though I'm not so sure she will be fixed by the…
-
I understand that queue times can be frustrating, and I feel the same way. However, it's ultimately up to the developers to decide whether to bring the mode back or extend it, not the players. People can request an extension, but the final decision rests with BHVR. They know that queue times have been long for killers, yet…
-
I really dislike 2v8 matches, and I also find the long queue times frustrating. Since this mode returned, I've been playing much less. However, I won't be upset with those who enjoy it—that seems unreasonable. It's important to remember that it works both ways; no one should be upset with those of us who don't enjoy the…
-
It baffles me why people get upset when others dislike something they enjoy. You can still enjoy and play the mode, even if someone like me dislikes it. That's very immature, to be honest.
-
That's unfortunate. I'll play again when it ends.
-
Queue times are long, and people might fall asleep or forget that they even queued up. It’s unfortunate when it happens, but it is what it is.
-
I'm very excited about the new chapter. I don't really like the new survivor character design, but I love the design of the Houndmaster; she looks awesome! I played her on the PTB, and despite the obvious bugs, she was so much fun to play. Her laugh and voice lines are great as well.
-
I believe they need to remove this mode and come up with something else. While I know that a lot of people enjoy this mode, it's negatively impacting the main game. Players will eventually tire of the long queue times and may end up quitting the game altogether. Bringing this mode back for just two weeks isn't beneficial;…
-
I attempted to play as the killer in a 1v4 match, but the queue times were still long. I often forget that I queued up for a game, and by the time I remember, the match is already halfway over. I will take another break until this frustrating game mode is gone!
-
From what I gathered from his post, he often experiences slugging in the main game (who doesn't?). Now, he has to deal with it in the limited 2v8 mode that's meant to be enjoyable. Can you blame him for feeling frustrated? Who enjoys being slugged, especially when it often occurs unnecessarily? I can tell you that I've…
-
For anyone not having fun: Stop playing 2v8 like I did. I played two games and then quit DBD until the event ends. It is what it is…
-
I disliked it! Yesterday, I played two 2v8 games, and they were simply not enjoyable. I ended up with many brand new teammates, and there was excessive slugging from the killers. Dealing with killer combinations such as Billy/Blight can be very unfun. Additionally, I forgot to equip a challenge, which is typical for me,…
-
It’s frustrating when someone wants to leave the match early, whether I’m playing as the killer or the survivor. However, it is what it is—I’ll just let them go. They’re not going to play the game normally anyway, and I refuse to stoop to their level and be toxic in return.
-
I couldn't wait for 2v8 to end; I didn't even finish the tome or collect the rewards because I disliked the mode so much. If it became a permanent feature and significantly affected the 1v4 queue times, I would seriously consider quitting the game and never playing it again.
-
Slugging has worsened, and developers must address it. I believe they will eventually take action, and killer players can only blame themselves. Slugging can sometimes be a necessary tactic, and I understand why killers use it when it’s the best strategy. However, I've noticed an increasing number of games where killers…
-
A lot of people used Distortion before the nerf because they didn't want to be found or chased. Chases are becoming less enjoyable due to map nerfs and the increasing number of anti-loop killers in the game. I'd rather sit on a gen than engage in a chase that I know won't last long if the RNG of the map is terrible.
-
It’s probably because maps have become smaller and weaker, and so many anti-loop killers are in the game. No wonder people don’t want to be chased unless they are exceptional at looping.
-
It needs adjustments as it is too strong on certain killers and does too much. Yeah, I play both sides, so I'm considering both perspectives. It's used a lot for a reason.
-
I agree it needs a slight change. In my opinion, it shouldn't provide as much for free, and isn't that what killer mains are always shouting about here? I'm not saying to eliminate the perk, but it should be earned rather than given away for free. Using tokens would be an effective approach (imho).
-
SM was nerfed so heavily because survivors disliked her so much that they wouldn't even play against her. This isn't the case for the other killers on the list, so she really shouldn't be compared to them. I anticipate there will be some nerfs, but I don't think it'll be anything crazy.
-
I don't think that's true. They can still learn from past mistakes without bringing back the original Freddy. I was around back then as well, and I did not have fun playing as or against him at that time. He was unique for sure, but not fun in my opinion. I'm glad they didn't bring him back. Who knows, maybe you'll enjoy…
-
More like 1/10. I've seen these types of posts way too many times. Nothing original here. LOL
-
I'm just going to say it: killer players are the biggest reason these events always suck. It's always non-stop camping, slugging, and tunneling game after game, with Nurse and Blight using the sweatiest perks and add-ons imaginable. I'm not saying this doesn't happen to killers as well (I play both sides), but it's…
-
It is what it is. I'll play the event for the challenges so I can get the event items, and that's it. It sucks because I was looking forward to the Halloween event. After all, spooky season is my favorite time of the year.
-
Yeah, but that doesn't change anything. Both sides should be fun to play and as balanced as possible, not go from one extreme to another, as someone already pointed out.
-
Some people are determined to quit playing against her no matter what. Still, it certainly doesn't help that most of the Dead by Daylight players I go against while using Skull Merchant is extremely toxic, even before the character was nerfed. I'm convinced that most people who play as SM are doing so to provoke a reaction…
-
Making the penalties harsher or removing self-unhooks from the game won't solve the issue of people giving up. Instead, the developers should focus on understanding why so many players are leaving games and develop a solution that makes people want to stay. While some players may give up for no reason, most of those who…

"But it is, without question, the single most pathetic and cringeworthy iteration of in-game BM there is, and anyone who does it like this should take a long look at themselves." I couldn't agree more. If I see someone doing this, I lose all respect for that person. It's disgusting behavior, and they need to do something…
