The devs can buff perks to viability without making them too good. Botany Knowledge is good when you are altruistic have a medkit, but it's not required all the time. Prove Thyself is good if you are a gen jockey, but not everyone is.

Many perks need to be buffed, and many of them can in very simple ways. Survivor perks should be around botany power level or higher. That is to say: useful, but not game-warpingly powerful.
