Well seeing as the PTB is PC only, I've seen other games have issues like this with an update.

They just tweeted "We’ve received reports from Playstation players who are experiencing issues getting into the game. We have a fix incoming as we speak. Crossplay will be disabled on Playstation temporarily, but we are currently working on a fix. Thank you for bearing with us!:
