Love how it's okay for Michael to be running around with an AK-47 in Call of Duty but not for him or Laurie to get a Christmas sweater
-
I agree with you about the gem issue. Survivors keep pulling out the Chaos Emerald and sending me into the Shadow Realm. It's making games borderline unplayable, to be honest.
-
Fair enough. For the record survivors that hang about in the door to teabag when everyone is safe annoy me just as much, and I'm a survivor main. If both sides could just learn to be nice to each other this game would be so much more wholesome and (probably) fun. Instead it has this tense atmosphere where both sides always…

They shouldn't need to upload a full video just to ask whether the killer's actions are bannable. It's possible they did BM, but I can say for a fact I've had this happen to me numerous times (sometimes even the whole team) when I didn't BM at all (teabagging, clicking, whatever). Killers don't need a survivor BMing as an…

I wish we played the same game. This happens to me or members of my team more often than it should with no provocation.

I don't think it should be bannable (multitude of reasons, but the biggest I think is how intensive it would be to moderate reports coming in for this sort of thing, and proving that it is malicious on the killer's part) but there really, really needs to be a way for survivors to move on quicker when this happens. The game…

We need a spring cleaning event

lol I can play at this game. 95% of killers do the same thing. If I try to experiment with non-meta builds or meme I get tunnelled out or slugged on the floor. If I play 'fair' and try to make sure the killer's experience is a good one it is never returned. I'm obviously exaggerating but you are too so it seems only…
-
I have a different but equally (if not more) valid set of criteria for killers that they need to meet to not go on 'the list': If you are playing Xenomorph, you must go into Crawler form and wait for me to throw my pebble before going to fetch it for me. Failure to return it will result in not being called a 'good boy'.…
-
You've already lost me by complaining about basekit BT. If you play survivor at all you would know why that's near a necessity. The language you're using gives me the impression this post is to antagonise survivors, not offer a chance for genuine discussion, so I won't bother responding in depth.
-
On a bad day: all of them. On a good day: Spirits because I feel like they never let up and the vacuum cleaner phasing is basically a guessing game as to whether you go down or not. Get hit, phase, down. Rinse and repeat. Doctors because I hate being interrupted mid-action and just standing there like an idiot Trappers…

Always so much more rewarding to run-in for a last second save and succeed, even if the chances are slim. You get such an adrenaline rush out of it. I always do this, because I know how bad it feels to be left behind by your whole team like that (and it has happened to me, many many times). It would be nice for there to be…

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is one of the worst feelings in the world. They become your family, in a way. Speaking from experience, I'd suggest you play something else for the time-being. This game is not the best to play when you are already going into it with a low mood, especially one compounded by grief.…

Well with the amount of perks added to the game of course there is going to be variety in what they offer and what counters they provide. This extends to killers as well as survivors. You are writing as though survivors have access to every single perk in the game, which they don't. You lost me when you complained about…
-
Not really sure there is a way to 'stop' it. Killers could certainly use some better incentives to not do it though. Need more perks to be designed like Pop and Grim Embrace, where leaving the hook and targetting multiple survivors rewards you. I think unless something drastic is added like a new gameplay mechanic to build…
-
That's really interesting, I've seen almost nothing BUT Dracula.
-
Deathslinger - roam the Wild West and drink it all in. Laurie - I'm not sure, though I'd imagine I'd be pretty sad for a long time after losing all my friends and nearly my own life. I don't think it's really touched on after the first film but I'd be surprised if Laurie didn't develop some gnarly coping mechanisms to try…

don't have the energy to weigh in on this properly, but the less camping this game has, the better. It's a boring strategy for both sides. So I'm content with another change that not only improves the solo queue experience further (might actually not be left to hit second) but also makes it more punishing for killers to…

Welcome to Dead by Daylight
-
I'm sorry to hear that the management at your place of work are making things difficult for you. It must be terrible to actually risk being considerably punished if you tunnel - and scary to think that your one single strategy for winning the game may no longer be as effective. My heart bleeds for you as much as the…
-
Not really? Though I feel like Michaels tunnel me a lot when I'm playing Laurie, even though canonically she should be the only one left standing. They always get pebbled.
-
Well it's Halloween soon (ish), maybe they'll give her an outfit then to commerate the holiday... ...is what I've been saying to myself the last three years. One can hope though.
-
Not really to be honest - since they made perks immediately accessable across new characters I don't really have a reason to spend them. Have all the survivors I play kitted out. I only spend them really because I don't want to go over the cap just in case. Would probably be very different if I played killer as well though.
-
Your name must be Laurie, because you Strode right into my heart. I'll be here all week
-
<3 thank you
-
I versed a Spirit earlier and can tell you it isn't. Stuck out like a sore thumb when every other killer I'd versed could be leaning over my shoulder and I wouldn't know they were there. Her noises stopped me from running straight into her at the start of the game. If it makes you feel any better, we still got absolutely…
-
Can't speak for the killer side but completely agree with the survivor side take. It's like every killer has Wraith's kit built in without needing to uncloak. You can't hear them and have no way of seeing them until it's too late. Killers know where to find you by patrolling gens and you're always going to be left…
-
Mr Puddles, the Pride Birb and Gnome Chompski. The ultimate trio.
-
Having a floating sentient kitchen knife as the new killer is a bold direction to take the game in, but I'm all for it.
-
You need to relight five BROKEN totems. It's very unlikely you get this to happen in a match unless you run I'd imagine Plaything and other hexes on top to incentivise survivors to break them. Even more unlikely that you can gradually build up to five over the course of the game as at least one survivor is going to know…
-
Always always always Diversion. No killer in a million years expects you to run it and that's why it works so well. It's genuinely saved my life countless times and never fails to get a laugh out of me when the killer falls for it and spends ages checking a random corner of the map with no one in it. Not to mention you can…
-
It can be a little offputting. I don't play the game anywhere near as much as I used to back in the day, and so I do get a little anxious that people are going to expect me to play better than I actually do. And with Laurie P100 (I have no idea if this is coincidence or not) there are a fair number of games where I seem to…

Danny Devito as The Blight
-
It will always be Laurie for me. I started out playing Jake but slowly gravitated towards Laurie. I think it was her backstory that really had me take a shine to her - the fact that a normal, everyday teenager around my age (I was 17-18 when I got into the game) could overcome evil and fight back was, I think…
-
This is an excellent point
-
Oh my god
-
Why thank you!
-
Done, as long as we get R2-D2 as a survivor.
-
I don't know about you, but my most hated killer to verse, BY FAR, to the Moon and back, 100%, unequivocally, by a considerable margin, certainly, beyond a shadow of a doubt, which I know to be true in my heart, for sure, is the Hillbilly. Could you P100 him, please? :3
-
It's okay! :) I understand that it can be frustrating. I hope your experience with the game fares better soon.
-
Not very nice to boil down the genuine advice I'm trying to give you as "you shouldn't let it bother you". You know full well I'm not just saying that. Sure, the devs could do more to combat toxicity, but I don't think at this point there's any evidence that they will/are going to put a system in place for it, especially…
-
I'll say first of all I sympathise with you and how you're feeling. I went through a particularly awful depressive episode a while back and tried to use this game as a way of comforting myself and it backfired enormously with the toxicity that was running rampant at the time. Something I've learnt through that is that this…

Diversion (I love the perk, but it is objectively bad) - The Pebble is now replaced with a Hand Grenade. The grenade has a 5/4/3 second fuse that activates once it is thrown. If it explodes close enough to the Killer, in addition to stunning them, it has a 30/50/100% chance to blow their limbs off. The Grenade will leave…
-
Reminds me of Call of Duty now where to get one specific thing you want you have to buy a more expensive bundle that has a load of stuff in it (usually filler nonsense to jack up the price) that you don't want. You can buy the characters separately with cells but you're still getting ripped off compared to previous…
-
I've had the same happen to me, and I think it is related to trophy progress you have made on the PS4 version. When I first logged in post-update I immediately got five or six trophies at once. Michael's trophies, Laurie's adept, doctor shocks etc. all trophies that I'd obtained on the PS4 version but hadn't gotten around…

Its always the same. Survivors get a perk thats used somehow situational, instantly its OP. Killer mains are so simple its already sad.
