This same bug happened to a friend and I on MacMillan Estate - Groaning Storehouse LD04. Cage spawned inside of a hook and player could not be freed from the cage. There were also various hooks around the map that could be sabotaged, unsure if they could be used to hook survivors.

I'm curious why you don't just play the non-event version of the game during events with bloodpoint bonuses. Then you'd be more likely to play against people who care less about farming bp.
