Got the same on PC (Steam), and also happened after escaping while playing survivor. Second time today. Rift tier progress, tome challenge, pips, player xp did not updated. Bloodpoints, however, did.

As killer, I've only seen this as Nemesis. As survivor, it happened in several maps (can't recall all of them, but there's evidence of at least 2 maps, and seen it happen in many others). It also seems to be visible at a considerable distance; the farther away I was when I saw this occur, the more "flickery" the pallet…

I can confirm now that, you can see this flickering playing as survivor as well (it happened twice, in different maps, but always against Nemesis). It happened at a much longer distance that the one displayed in the video (probably 25/30m?)

I'm having the same issue; in addition, while searching for a match, I get another error randomly that says "Could not connect to the host", and I need to ready up again.

+1 to this; after finishing the tutorials (and had some issues with it not registering the completion properly), I went to my killer loadouts and every killer was default skin with no charms equipped. Went to survivor, and everything was default too.

I'm having exactly the same problem; did the challenge while having it active and it did not get complete. There's an achievement called "Texas BBQ" for hooking survivors in the basement, and that is at 0/25 after hooking at least 6 or 7 different survs.
