It's easy to make the game simple when you ignore whole game mechanics.

I heard that nerfing characters for no reason is actually a good thing because it means only the best players will be good with him. Look forward to that, I guess.

When are we getting nerfs to some survivor perks to weed out those bad players? Asking for a friend.

Go ahead and hit each survivor with a basic attack. Do that and find that the game is over by the time you have your fourth down. Hey, how many times do you need to hook survivors in order to kill all of them? Oh, wait... you need to hook a survivor 12 times in a single game to kill them all. Huh. Weird.
