The fact this is still happening just baffles me. Who at BHVR thought that this was a good idea? What were they trying to achieve with this? Why is there no mention of this in any of the patch notes? Why have they not reverted it? If they thought about this change for like 2 seconds, they would've realised how stupid it…

Basically, it's just a hungry thing that feeds off emotions Specifically, any action that gives bloodpoints feeds The Entity, according to a dev stream from a while back It's probably doing this to grow in power so it can do something when it grows strong enough, but we can't really tell what it'll use all of its power for…

Auric cells are carried over (I think) The DLC will be carried over. Although it won't say you purchased the chapter on steam, you will still keep the characters on both platforms without having to buy it on both
-
If I'd had to guess, I'd say because of 2v8. 2v8 brought back players that haven't played in a while and those people are just trying the new content.
-
They were absolutely cheating. EGC only occurs in 2 situations; When a gate opens (which requires all gens to be powered) Or when hatch is closed (which it couldn't have been since you never closed it) Gates take 15~ seconds to open. So unless they had Sole Survivor, Wake up and an exhaustion perk to run out when the gate…

Normally I'm optimistic that these types of changes will be reverted. But with how long the servers have been merged for without any updates or information on reverting the change, it really makes it hard for me to tell myself that it will be fixed soon, because I genuinely don't think it will be by this point. Might even…

If I did lose progress, I didn't notice it. Which I probably would've since I had everyone unlocked before merging and still have them after.

No, that's his terror radius in tier 1. On release he wasn't undetectable in tier 1 and instead had a 6m terror radius. If you could find a way to remove the undetectable in tier 1 today, he would have a 6m terror radius without perks or addons. Surprised they never changed it. I guess it's still technically correct…

Very late answer, but from my personal experience, it goes like this for toolboxes: Common-Uncommon Uncommon-Commodious toolbox Commodious-Alex's toolbox It might be random, but it has always been in this order for me
-
While I may not have a definitive answer for the first question, I can answer the other 2 2. Yes for the DLC, no for auric cells. Probably because if it gave you the auric cells on both, it would also have to take them away on both when you use them, which is probably very difficult to do. Also probably difficult for legal…

As a semi Xeno main, no, Xeno isn't even close to being weak. Even in the absolute worst case scenario, he's still a mid-high B tier killer I'd have to guess his killrate is so low due to how punishing turrets are if you don't know how to play around them. If you don't know how to play around them, your only tool is the…

A mode? Nah, imagine getting old RPD with the upstairs library section. That was abused to all hell due to either being unhookable or being unsaveable. Very frustrating for both ends. But I reckon they could add an "archived" section to custom games where you can play on older maps. That way the only people that can abuse…

There is an unofficial website named "Dbd info" It uses your steam achievements to accurately calculate how many "whatevers" you have, but it is limited to what the achievements are. E.g you won't get how many hits you missed since there's not an achievement for that. If you don't play on steam, it won't work though

Couple problems I can see with this 15% isn't enough of a buff for having to completely focus on the generator, since you're so focused you won't be able to look around you to see where the killer may be coming from. There are so many situations where you HAVE to get off the generator, the most obvious one is the killer…

Steve is probably the goofiest one. David, Ash and Dwight are probably the second most goofy ones. Lisa Garland (legendary skin for Cheryl) is so obnoxious, I hate it. Mikaela could be bad, but it's been awhile since I've heard her's and I'm too lazy to do it myself. Jill is very 50/50 depending on which scream she does,…

I mean, this is kinda already possible with the right perks. Those perks being Game Afoot and Nemesis(not the killer) (and also Lethal Pursuer if you want a longer aura duration) Although not the exact same, it's pretty close and probably the closest we'll get for a while. Anyway, for my thoughts on this perk idea. Yeah I…

No, there's no compensation at all. Unless you count the charm that comes with buying the DLC, but that's not really compensation because you would have got it if you just bought the DLC. But other than that, there is no compensation with ingame currency.
-
The only thing I can think of is to make sure both are updated to the most recent version then open and close the game on both platforms. That may help. Now I don't use Xbox so idk if this is a thing, but you could also try to check the status/integrity/whatever of the downloaded content/DLC on Xbox. If these don't work…
-
You will not be given anything to compensate, the only thing you get out of it is any cosmetics or charms that are tied to purchasing the DLC. Example, Chucky's Good guy box charm. If you buy Chucky with auric cells, you won't get the charm. But if you buy the DLC, whether or not you own the character already, you will get…

Based off the ones you currently have, I'd recommend Demogorgon the most because he's kind of a combination of Dredge and Wesker, so assuming you like dredge and wesker you'll probably like Demogorgon. (Demo's perks are also pretty decent, so that's a bonus) For my second pick, I'd choose either Blight or Oni since they…

It's been a thing since 8.0.0, it's gone on for way longer than it should have and I hope they fix it soon

Vittorio Toscano is one of the main survivors who leaves the campfire to explore the realm. There are other beings in the Entity's realm outside of the killers and survivors. The most popular ones being a vampire and a giant spider which are shown in some tome cutscenes Also the entity can summon killers into some parts of…

Counterforce could be replaced with something else because totem cleansing doesn't give you that much progress towards the Lightbringer emblem. Just repairing a gen normally gives you a ton of progress towards Lightbringer so you could probably just ignore gen/totem related perks entirely to focus on chase, altruism and…

Only thing I can think of is to try verifying the files if you haven't already.
-
I think it only mutes the sound you make coming out of the portals and not the global roaring sound. If it's supposed to mute both, then it's been bugged for ages.
-
It's an unofficial custom perk icon thing which changes the visuals of perk icons. The most well known way to get these is on a website named "nightlight" Edit: Unless you're talking about the perks showing up in that area, in which case idk. Maybe something in the settings?
-
The Devs probably know that, because they've probably played a killer that requires precision while having bad ping. Basically everyone has had at least one experience like that so they're probably able to figure out that "bad ping+precise control to use power=unplayable match"
-
Yeah, they have been made aware of this on another post (idk if links are allowed so I'll just do the second best thing I can think of and share the title of the post) The title of the post I'm talking about is "OCE / SEA Players forced into laggy lobbies." This post contains a screen shot of an email from a dev responding…

I think the worst part is the fact that this change wasn't mentioned at all in any patch notes (at least that I could find) But maybe it was silently added because they're doing a test run on changes like this to see if people notice and how they react to it, meaning it may be reverted and won't happen again? (Probably…
-
From what I've gathered, it's an intentional change that happened at some point around versions 8.0.0 - 8.0.2 and wasn't mentioned in any patch notes I could find, meaning it was silently added (which hopefully means it's a test run to see if people notice and how they react to it instead of it being a permanent change,…

I think I know what's causing this, but I may be wrong This is an "issue" (intended change, sadly) affecting people in the OCE (Oceania. Australia, New Zealand, ect) and SEA (South East Asia) servers (if you are in either, continue reading cuz I'm probably talking about the right thing here) The intended change was to…
