I'm getting the same error message as well

I just got kicked out of the middle of a game too. Now I'm stuck hanging on "Checking Platform Services" just like last night. I'm on PC.

I've experienced this as well on Midwich. I asked the killer in the post-game chat if they received anything and they said no as well.
