there is a temp fix for steam atleast, go attempt to buy an owned character you currently have locked, buy through steam, let it load the steam overlay and back out of it, your characters should return till you reload anyway

I seem to have a fix for it. After loading into the game if you click on a character you own but currently locked and proceed to buy it through which brings up steam ingame purchase option then back out, all my characters returned, however I am still missing my auric cells...guess the main problem is fixed though
