I don't think thats that bad, annoying sure but thats kind of the point of the zombies is to be a tool in aiding the killer, I wish there was more meaningful counterplay to them but I think they're fine.

No no no lol that'd be broken, extremely broken and unfun for the survivors, my suggestion is a lot more tame. Zombies are fine its just a little unfortunate they don't provide towards mutation rate and survivors can deprive you of your powers upgrades.
