Introducing "strong" perks for survivors is a dangerous game. Because you run the risk of all four survivors running a "strong" game changing perk, which can have extremely negative implications for gameplay. Original Mettle of Men, Original Circle of Healing and Original Made For This are perfect examples of this…

I want more then just dream pallets. Give us dream gens, dream, lockers, dream totems, dream exit gates all base kit. And each have a negative effect when survivors interact with them. Make being in the dream world an actual detriment for survivors. It's where freddy is most powerful, after all.
-
So, you want to be chased, but only under incredibly specific circumstances? You want to be able to be stealthy, but then get mad when the killer focuses on the one survivor they're able to find? You want killers to focus on the unhooker instead of the survivors that got unhooked, but conveniently left out that the…

I'm kind of confused by survivors hating killer's aura reading abilities as much as they do. Survivors often say that the most enjoyable part of DBD is the chase. Looping, mindgames, cat and mouse, that sort of thing. Auras reading abilities help killers find survivors and that leads to the chase. Is that not what…
-
…….Did you just ask why a basic M1 killer who's only other power is stealth gets a speed increase why cloaked? Like, for real?
-
to be fair, Freddy's original rework shot him to the top of the kill rates AND the top of the pick rates. Its only when they nerfed the numbers on his rework and butchered his addons that he became the hot piece of garbage he is today
-
I think people still say the game is survivor sided because for the first 6.5 years of this games life, it WAS survivor sided. Thats not even remotely up for debate. And after that many years, thats a hard stigma to get rid of. However, in recent years, the game has become much more balanced in recent years. Personally, I…

I'm blown away that any person throughout the multiverse would ask "Why" for the single most important feature this game could ever possibly receive.
-
Typically, I slug when I down a survivor and another is in line of sight, thus creating more pressure on the survivors and getting them off gens. By the time I come back to the first survivor, they have already crawled away and I can't find them. If you crawl away and try to hide when your downed, you don't get to complain…
-
Thats kind of how killers felt for the first 6.5 years of this game's existence
-
I typically only use my toolbox when another survivor is being chased
-
A scourge hook perk that gives you more then four scourge hooks as the match goes on? I adore this idea!
-
I mean, you're not wrong. Like, at all
-
If you can name 3 times you went against a killer who intentionally used the blindness status effect in their build in the past year, I'll eat my hat with BBQ sauce
-
"So, Lightborn also deserves a nerf by this logic?" ……….YES!!!! Yes it does! Never let it be said that I'm a hypocrite. But lightborn absolutely shouldnt be able to completely shutdown one of the few defenses a survivor has. Personally, I'd give it a cooldown long enough to make sure it cant be used is rapid fire…
-
Can't have perks that show the killers aura??? Object of Obsession, Kindred, WIcked, Alert, Eyes of Belmont, Poised and the blood amber addon for keys always provide great value
-
You can see auras in tunnels when playing as xeno
-
The distortion nerf wasn't just fine, it was absolutely necessary. A single survivor perk should NOT be able to singlehandedly shut down an entire category of killer perks and addons. With that being said, I'm fine with it being buffed to 15 seconds per chase per token. Its in a really good spot now. Powerful effect, but…
-
My biggest issue with bat form is that it really screws over those who are hearing impaired. We have the visual heartbeat, which was put in for hearing impaired survivors, yet bat form allows you to hear survivors better………unless you're hearing impaired
-
or if one loop leads to another loop. There are several tiles in this game that are right next to other tiles. Two moderate loops next to each other is equivalent to one very strong loop
-
Pyramid Head still hasn't gotten an addon pass he desperately needs, but lets change these 4 first instead (three of which have already been changed multiple times). This game is frustrating sometimes
-
Killer main, here. If anything, I'd actually give this perk a WoO a buff. Since Zanshin Tactics is the killer equilivent of WoO and recently got a second effect added on to it, I don't really have much of an issue with WoO getting a second effect as well. As for the main effect of WoO, I don't really have a problem with…

Wouldn't that just guarantee all hooked survivors a free unhook and heal? (otherwise known as a reset)
-
How are they gonna get stats on her when her playrate drops to absolute zero?
-
"Saves are no longer safe." I mean……they shouldnt be safe? I'm not saying a killer should be gaurenteed to get anyone right off the hook. But with that same mindset, survivors should also not be guaranteed a free reset (unhooking someone and getting them back to full health with no risk whatsoever.)
-
Then hop in a locker, or hide behind a gen, or use Object of occasion, or Off The Record, or Boon Shadow Step, or Sole Survivor, or even the current version of Distortion. There are plenty of ways to counter aura reading in specific circumstances that you could use, but what you want is a catch-all perk that just negates…
-
May I ask a question? I understand that you dislike the number of aura reading options killers have access to. Thats understandable. But you you think its okay for survivors to have access to a single perk that single handedly counters an entire category of killer perks and addons? Simply put, Distortion nerf was justified

What Behavior did to the Skull Merchant is nothing short of disgusting. However, there is an upside to this. A decent chunk of the community is angry about this, and are rallying behind the Skull Merchant. By trying to kill the Skull Merchant, all behavior did was make her stronger, in a way
-
That doesn't address the scenario i stated above at all
-
Sounds like survivors could use this to punish killers by crawling away and hiding so the killer can't find them. The olny way to completely prevent this would be for the killer to pick up that survivor right away, which isnt always the best call. IF I feel i'm about to get flashlight saved or pallet stunned, i'm not…
-
For the first 6-7 years, this game was overwhelmingly survivor sideed. From them on, it slowly became more killer sided. And here we are today
-
Couldn't that be used to the killers advantage? Like, if a killer knows theres a few survivors nearby trying to go for an unhook, a killer could just facecamp to move that survivor to the other side of the map
-
Incentives will always outdo punishments. Incentives reward good play, while punishments will just push people away from the game. Also, the anti camp mechanic punishes FACE camping. Proxy camping is still very much viable, as it should be. If the Devs want to remove camping in its entirity, they need to find out a way to…
-
Its a bit of a mixed bag. I'be been in 2v8 games where the killers were in total sync and totally dominated us. And i've been in survivor games where we finished all the gens rapidly with only 2-4 hooks in total. it can swing either way
-
Biggest L of the livestream is also the biggest DBD L of the year: No Freddy update till 2025. (and forgive me if I expect it to be delayed even further then that)
-
thank you!
-
If Jason's power doesn't involve walking through/breaking through pallets and breakable wall as if they aren't even there, then i'll be dissapointed
-
Now that Alchemist Ring was nerfed and he no longer has hug techs, I think Blight is in a more then fair state. Slightly nerf his current Iri addons and he's golden
-
I've been saying for a while that she should be the next celebrity survivor in DBD
-
Off topic, do flashbangs have any effect on a killer that has lightborn?
-
We once had a close to 50 percent kill rate in the game. As I recall, it brought about a great killer exodus to the game, and survivor's biggest gripes were super long cure times. Asymmetrical games, by design, aren't supposed to have a 50/50 win rate. That's just not how the entire genre is designed
-
I thought kill rates at the moment were around 60% which is where the devs want them
-
If Chucky's power recovery is nerfed, then he needs to become a 115 killer. Thats why his power recovery was buffed in the first place, because it felt awful to be a powerless 110 killer most of the game
-
Remember Mettle of Man, and Made for This? Remember how everyone screamed for the heavens that this should not reach the live game under any circumstance and that doing so would hurt the gameplay experience in the long run? Remember how there were people who literally said to give it a chance and give it some time before…
-
Distortion absolutely needed a nerf. A single perk should not shut down an entire category of killer perks and addons
-
Have the devs buff other killers to the point of weaker killers being stronger, and you'll see more killers. At higher ranks, weaker killers struggle, and stronger killers have a better chance at success. It's not rocket science
-
Aurvivors get mad when killers run Aura perks and Gen regression. WHat are killers allowed to run without enraging survivors at this point??
-
I’m kinda blown away that anyone could ever accuse hehavior of hating survivors, when this game was heavily survivor sided for the first 6.5 years of its lifespan
-
Scott Jund did a whole video discussing this on youtube
-
just played an additional five games with nemesis with kicker tounge equiped. Can absolutely confirmed that the hindered effect is completely bugged
