I don't know if your solution might work since my steam account already has multiple survivor and killer matches completed and beginner mode disable, I might try it on my EGS account. Same issue here, I tried contacting support and after giving me a generic fix that didn't work got told to wait until devs decided to fix it without any reassurance for when is it getting solve. To add salt to the wound they just straight up closed my ticket.
