I've never gotten a key from a chest. Probably because I only play the mobile version, but yes if you don't bring a threat you do get bullied quite a bit. Normally if I bring an Ebony memento they tend to shut up after the second kill, and on a normal day they get 1 gen at that time. Pretty much it's bully or get bullied
