Note - I have now completed the rift challenge, it did not work whilst one of the survivors were broken. Is this intended that Blood Echos does not activate if the survivor already has a status?

Was this separate hooks? As the hook counter adds a hook if someone falls into second stage. For iri emblem it has to be actual hooks and not what the counter says throughout the game.
