  • Hook gymnastics meant the killer is camping. Full stop. However, so many new players have begun playing and decided the opposite is true. They don't want to accept the already established signal for some reason. If someone is waving their arms while hooked, I'm continuing my gens. If they're not waving their arms and I go…
  • In a community where people are proudly toxic, yeah. I'm sure they're aaaalll innocent and the ONLY reason people are hooking in the basement is because of the challenges. 🤡
  • Yeah, and all of a sudden EVERY killer is working towards this achievement. 🙄 Just like every survivor who exploited SB didn't know, right?
  • OK, COOL! Still doesn't happen almost every single match to multiple survivors. Flashlight blinds can also be avoided most of the time. That's definitely a huge disadvantage but the killer's FOV is not looking at the sky, completely rendering him useless. By the way, why does it always come down to, "but but but this…
  • Difference is, you still got to finish your game and get your points even with the Wake Up exploit. Imagine having a game as killer where as soon as you hook a survivor or get pallet stunned, you're unable to see or do anything. It would be fixed in a hot second. Hell, we were stuck with the bug of being able to see…
  • Bonus action versus a bug where you can't finish your game AT ALL, gee....it really IS the same thing! 🙄 Sprint Burst exploit =/= to the basement bug. It's not even a comparison. Sure, exploiting a perk sucks and should be punishable...but this basement glitch completely robs you of the chance to play the rest of the game.…
  • It's highly unfair. Sure, *some* may not know about the glitch...but let's be real. If you play this game regularly, you know what's going on. Let's not pretend like every killer is doing it on accident - - everyone is all of a sudden running Agitation and Iron Grasp and going to the basement. It's not just a huge…
  • I change the way I play slightly. I know with every SWF group I've played with, they have a "eff that random, let them die" mindset. They're more likely to sandbag the random, won't rush to save them, won't go back to save them, etc. They're more concerned with themselves and their SWF. I go into solo games expecting to…
  • Loops are one of the only defense mechanisms survivors have. Pallets are unreliable because half the time, other survivors slam them down and waste them all OR they don't respond to an attempt to slam it. Loops can be the only chance survivors have to escape from the killer. As a killer, you have options: mindgame them (it…
  • I play solo and run Self-care consistently. Here's my reasoning: You can't always rely on randoms. Yes, you're supposed to be working as a team, but many players are out to win. I've encountered some petty teammates, so I choose to be able to heal myself if I need to. Secondly, some teammates refuse to heal you because…
  • Tunneling is a show of insecurity. When you focus on one survivor until they die, you're A) ruining someone's game play, B) too insecure that you have the skills to secure a kill any other way, and C) neglect the 3 other survivors. Those survivors get to relax and focus on gens, totems, and chests (& finding tools that aid…
  • SWF doesn't mean an automatic loss for the killer. Majority of the time it's an easy 4k because they're way too altruistic, to the point of being stupid. Sure, you get those random ninja groups who are quick and perfectly coordinated...but that's not the rule, but an exception. And let's not forget that survivors having…
  • Reducing blood points is pointless because no one really cares about them unless there's a new killer or survivor. Camping killers should also feel the wrath of the Entity, and they should implement a serious downside to camping, whether a speed reduction for time spent within a certain distance of a hooked survivor or gen…
  • It seems to happen mostly with Legion, in my personal experience. Doesn't matter what map, but it prevents you from healing yourself, healing others, and mending. Any Legion running Bloodhound can get an easy 4k because no one can heal or mend.
  • Blocking a player doesn't prevent you from being placed in a lobby with them, does it? I thought it just prevented communication.
  • Wow, that's a crappy thing to do to your teammates. If you're camped, hold on as long as possible to help your teammates, geez.

  • Yeah, I personally think that a survivor shouldn't depip if they're camped and tunneled. Some nights you can face tunneler after tunneler and not have a chance to preserve your rank, and you get punished for a killer's cheap game methods. They should implement a safety pip in the case of being tunneled.
  • There are perks to help combat gen rushing (Ruin, Thanatophobia, Thrilling Tremors, Corrupt Intervention) and you shouldn't spend that much time chasing one survivor, at least not at high ranks. You spend too much time on one chase, the other survivors are going to get gens done unless you apply pressure to the map. I do…
  • I don't know, but when I play killer I go out of my way to not camp and tunnel, and still get a 3 or 4k. Not having the time is a silly excuse IMO, because if you can only get kills by camping and tunneling...well, like we tell survivors: take your L. As killers, we're gonna win some and lose some. I take muuuuch more…
  • I agree. Killers can dodge certain survivors - I've gone into a full lobby where the killer and survivors are readied up and as soon as I load in, the killer dodges. It's usually always someone I've gone against before. They can avoid survivors who have been toxic or are just really good...why can't survivors do the same?…
  • Wait - how can you say stealth has no place in this game?! There are various perks specifically designed to help stealth. That's like people claiming that camping was never intended to be a viable strategy, even though Insidious is a perk. Stealth is one of the most important aspects for survivors imo.
  • A killer who remains close to a hooked survivor is slowly drained of speed by the entity, which consumes without prejudice. How about a slight speed reduction for killers who camp, not enough to ruin their chances at a 4k but enough to dampen the rest of their game? If you're in an X amount of distance, you lose X% of…
  • It would be nice if DS was an automatic ability for survivors, what since 95% of killers camp and tunnel anymore. At the very least, they should prevent survivors from depipping when tunneled. If a survivor starts next to the killer (which happens aaaall the time...and I usually ignore them to give them a fair start since…
  • Seems like they keep making survivors louder, which makes being stealthy much more difficult. You'd think that since Meg is an athlete, she'd be able to run ten feet without sounding like she's having an asthma attack...
  • Lol, I main survivor. I occasionally play killer, but 75% of the time I run solo survivor. Wait time for solo survivor is generally less than 5 minutes max, shorter for killer. I keep frequently getting lobbied with P3 survivors with top tier perks and play a damn good game who are conveniently rank 14, going against a…
  • Except vice versa - no new killer wants to go against sweaty survivors who purposely derank so they have a better chance at surviving. There's a lack of red rank killers, sure - - but letting veteran survivors demolish potential killer mains is not gonna help fix the killer shortage.
  • Okay sure, but I'm not talking about random people who simply took a month off. We're talking groups of SWF who purposely derank.
  • I mean, you can make excuses all day but it doesn't change the fact that PURPOSELY DERANKING is going to deter new killers from the game.
  • You can easily tell by game play alone that they're not a real rank 15 survivor. It's not merely game play amount. Especially with how many bloodpoints it takes to get all of the best tier 3 perks, teachable?! You have to cycle through 3 entire bloodwebs to get P3 clothing. You have to be earning enough bp every match to…
