We were thinking a similar thing actually. That way at least it’s possible for survivors to actually get out rather then be held hostage like that. Hopefully they will do something like that so there won’t be any more situations of that leading to the twins holding the game hostage. I didn’t even think about Springwood…

It was two duos, we finished the gen and opened the gate whilst my friend was on hook. It was physically impossible to get the save. There was no holding the game hostage in this case but the basement was completely blocked leaving it to be physically impossible to get the save. That is the point im trying to make this…

Agreed. It can be abused and at worst can lead to the killer holding the game hostage and at best an exploit that forced survivors to either dc or be sacrificed due to end game.

Agreed. Absolute worse case they can hold the game hostage and if not trap multiple survivors in basement forcing the team to kill them to end game collapse.

That wasn't the point of my post. It was to get the information out there in the hopes that the devs would realise that you cant rescue survivors as it is physically impossible to save them due to exploiting. Camping is one thing but sometimes you don't get a choice to camp that is understandable. This person did it just…

It was physically impossible they trapped my friend in the basement. There was no one to get past or to drop down and I couldn't kick victor because he was controlling him. Definitely needs to be fixed haha

@Orion Ok, thanks I'll send them an email. Actually could not loading into a game be considered exploiting? That's a very common bug and that could be why I got a ban. Thoughts? It doesn't happen a lot to me, but it does happen enough to where I could have gotten a ban for it.

@weirdkid5 Oh right. I've never used that before as I didn't really know about it, why did they remove the report a cheater though? it makes it very difficult to remove hackers from the game and who knows when they'll bring it back.

@weirdkid5 Yeah its a shame that they've made a new forum but haven't even added a section for cheaters or anything! I did report them at the time of the videos recording but seeing as that is currently down I doubt that they have been banned or anything

@FSB75 Yeah I agree that the naming and shaming policy shouldnt be a thing because if they want to hack I feel as though we should be able to show who the player is

Thanks for the reply! I've removed the name and link, im still new to this so I wasn't completely sure on the rules and yeah I did report them at the time of recording it. :chuffed:
