Ok, I play killer nearly 100% of the time - I was programmed to scoff at this nerf plea. But I tried the WA+FD combo for the first time this morning (admittedly all on Vecna): 4K, two DCs 4K 3K, 1 DC (but the bot got the hatch, ironically) 4K, two DCs And this is in Japan, where I normally see a bot once every 50 matches…

Why? Because killers do not care about bloodpoints. 85% of the maps are survivr sided - so map offerings have very limited value. And except for a handful of killers, purple and red add-ons are mostly useless or in egregious cases actively harmful. If I could be guaranteed a 2-4K in every match I ever play and be capped at…

Rancor, for the following reasons: (1) If (like me) you struggle to keep gens from being done quickly, pair it with NWO. When you get to 1 gen (or 2 when you know one will blow quickly), find the obsession and stick on them until gens are done. Mori, and with NWO you still have time to claim another scalp. As long as you…

I think (purely anecdotally) that East Asia (I am an expat in Japan, mostly paired with Japanese and Chinese, sometimes Southeast Asians) naturally favors playing survivors over playing killers. In the last 3 years of playing, I can count on one hand the number of times I had to wait more than 60-90 seconds in the killer…
-
Well, not THAT bad.
-
As a killer, I love him- but not sure how I would react as a survivor. With increased BP during the event, I can run the purple that gives you two free nightfalls (and the green that extends nightfall for 20 seconds) every single match (plus corrupt and other gen slowdowns). I have to imagine that spending half the match…
-
I find the higher I get on MMR, the more useful Rancor is. As long as you are careful that the person you have on the hook is not the obsession, only 2 of the 3 remaining survivors can play with you (and that makes hook bombing and bodyblocking harder). If you previously killed 1 and have 1 on hook (and one of the two…

As a wraith main, I welcome the new SB (or anything) meta. Besides nurse and blight, wraith is the only killer that won’t completely lose chases with non-DH exhaustion perks. Sure, they can deny you a hit at a vault or drop same as any other killer, but you just cloak and are back on them 5 seconds later.
-
Nerfing Pig might help this.
-
Nope, just saying there is a FEELING of danger/fear around him that even they can't match.
-
Its not JUST that, actually. If you've been a good little boy and hooked everyone 1-2 times (and are chasing the 2 hooker), for anyone else the t-baggers just get in between you and continually reset the chase between COH heals. With the saw? They stay away.
-
Sprint burst is better in maybe two, very narrow situations: (1) You hear the heartbeat, and instantly run 100% in the other direction. (2) You are oblivious and a killer is two meters from you when you first see them. Note that this doesn't apply to Wraith, who is still faster than you in cloak and will just cancel the…

I think she is weak overall, but she is the first and only killer in the game where you can run all 3 of her base perks and feel reasonably powerful. Barely any other killer has even two non-useless perks, and nobody’s set synergizes like hers.
-
double comment
-
I think the post-manifesting flickering gives her depth nobody has completely thought through yet. Demanifesting in a loop, manifesting, and then using the invis as cover is great mindgaming potential- she really is a better pig at that point since the crouch attack is useless. That doesn’t put her at nurse level, but…
-
i think people are underestimating what a 115 killer with a 24m TR (16 with M&A) can do. Yes, Meyers has that too, but she doesn’t have to waste 60 or 90 seconds or more to get it and she has a lot more in the rest of her kit than him.
-
Don't sleep on Quentin.
-
Right now, I get the feeling that people who say she is UP merely use her power to get the first hit, chase the survivor through a few pallets without dematerializing, and then use teleport to go to the other end of the map. Hint: use teleport offensively during a chase. You start with someone with 3 or 4 passive stacks…
-
Glad you love it! Most people wouldn’t like that, but you are seeing the bright side and that’s important. Spend that 5 minutes with family and friends!

If If (due to RNG) all four keys are in the box Pig is AFK in front of, there is no way for the survivors to escape. They would all die simultaneously if a gen is done, and if no gen is done the game never ends.
-
Pigs use the rare iri that makes all 4 survivors start with traps. If that pig goes afk in front of a box, somewhere between 0 and 4 of the keys are in that (inaccessible) box. The math is a bit complicated, but if even one gen is done there is roughly a 1 in 210 chance you 4K (and a 63 percent chance of at least one kill,…
-
You’re right, I forgot to mention another pig nerf but it won’t be massive, will just take her from C- to D+.
-
I like this body blocking guy. Sounds like an alpha male straight shooter with upper management written all over him. Learn his wisdom and apply it next game.
-
I actually find it works better against higher ranked teams, because they are more likely to stand around and bully you (the inexperienced just leave, quite sensibly). Plus, if you deliberately make sure your hat person is on second (not third) hook when BW activates, they usually believe a rescue and complete 4 person…
-
Thanks, I have been humbled by someone with actual math abilities. This actually makes the trolling more potent! A 63% chance at a 1-2K is pretty awesome for AFKing. Will cross-reference to this at the top.
-
Someone didn't read the math :(
-
BBQ, absolutely. I need the money (it keeps you in purple add-ons every match), I need the information (nothing better for snowballing and deciding whether you need to stay in the area). People who say they only run it for one or the other are...not being honest. They will never design a perk with two such powerful effects…
-
I...I thought my strategy was next level, but this is genius sir.
-
True, but I don't think any of the other ones (surveillance, eruption, etc.) justify the time sink.
-
Err, no. If you are visible in a chase for more than 1-2 seconds at a time, you are doing it wrong. Cardinal rule with Wraith: NEVER chase while visible, unless you are uncloaking in lunging range.
-
Actually, I've used two purple add-ons (ASB and purple shadow dance) for 100 games in a row. My stockpiles of both have actually gotten bigger over that span, all you need to do is: Prioritize black ward over everything Prioritize ASB next Prioritize purple shadow dance next Always run BBQ When you don't have a black ward,…

Luckily All Seeing Blood is purple.
-
I'll have to try that- never really done the "hit and run" build, since survivors seem to heal up so quickly (but then again, I don't run anti-heal perks to lengthen the time period). But chases are generally extremely short with bamboozle (combined with shadow dance) since you can short-circuit any gym or the shack pretty…
-
I only play wraith (perks are BBQ, Corrupt, Bamboozle, and a rotating 4th- Devour, NOED, Blood Warden, No Way Out, etc.). Other add-on is always purple shadow dance (for chewing through pallets and bamboozle synergy).
-
I am a lawyer actually- this post was a compliment to us :P
-
All seeing blood + silent bell isn't overpowered. The type of people who won't run when they hear the heartbeat and see the red stain are the type of people you can catch with a loud bell anyway. All seeing blood + purple shadow dance (plus bamboozle) is the true power combo. Fake the uncloak at every pallet, and half of…
-
Wraith is only oppressive if he runs all-seeing blood and shadowdance together. At that point, you can't ever stealth him, you can't lose him in a chase, he'll win every gym mindgame because he sees you 100% of the time, and he eats pallets almost as fast as bubba. Before the wraith buff, I could BARELY get him to 8 or 9…
-
This is wraith right now (and I say this from the POV of a wraith main): (1) Uncloak and get first hit unless they are very near a pallet or window (2) Cut off the window with Bamboozle (an absolute must have for any wraith), and go to the pallet. (3) Most survivors will just stand in the pallet, waiting for you to…
-
Above about rank 10, if you rotate hooks among four survivors (i.e., before anyone gets a third everyone has two) you. will. lose. the. game. with. a. 0. or 1. k. every. single. time. (unless you are a god nurse/spirit maybe). Solve that problem, and we can talk about banning tunneling. Because the one thing worse than…
-
All of these comments about wraith being a helpless M1 killer if there are windows ignore the existence of Bamboozle. Run that and purple shadow dance, and wraith’s one big weakness Is erased.
-
Wraith with purple shadow dance, purple all seeing and above all bamboozle can’t be stealthed, can’t be shaken in a chase, and eats pallets at a bubba rate if you are good at the fake decloak. And if you run BBQ at P3, you can run both of those addons virtually 100 percent of the time. One big hint with that build: if you…
-
Before the buff, I had a hard limit of about r6 on him (for years- I simply could not pip above that). Since the buff, I rocketed to rank 1-2 in a couple days and can stay there fairly easily. (1) The primary reason for this is you don't need windstorm anymore (I haven't ran it once since the buff). Pre-buff, purple…

NEED FOR SPEED Start the trial with a .04 m/s reduction to base speed. Every time you hook a survivor you receive a token (up to a maximum of 6/8/10 tokens). For each token, your base speed is increased by .02 m/s. [i.e., going up 5% takes 10 hooks] WALK OF SHAME Activates when at least one set of Exit Gates are opened. If…
-
At the border between red and purple ranks (which is my skill level), I will get 0-1 kills if I try to rotate hooks to get a 12 hook. It simply isn't feasible. It only works on people that are a few notches below the killer's skill level (and the killer is trying to be somewhat nice and/or double pip).
-
Just make gen repairs 50% slower in the first 60 or 90 seconds (figure out the timing in the PTR). Sure, some survivors may try to wait that out (ala corrupt intervention, although even at high ranks I've seen very, very few teams try to completely hide for 120 seconds), but that creates some fun cat and mouse in the…
-
Generally I'd say it won't be nerfed, because it (like Stridor) is a perk that gives incredible value but only to a very small cast of characters (Spirit, Nurse, Wraith and maybe Hag), and for everyone else its very weak. Those types of perks generally fly under the radar.
-
Dragon's Grip is fun, but too chancy for me. You can chase 2 or 3 away from the almost done gen, but if they are paying attention they'll notice if you stop and go back to set up a gen ambush.
-
I haven't gotten to play yet, but this looks like it could be pretty strong on the new Wraith (especially if he is running the 12m perma aura reading add-on) even without supporting it with other perks. Zoom into an area, see a couple auras, down somebody and just take off in the general direction of whomever fled- with…
-
I've said this before, but Pennywise's power is easy- let him morph into the 2 or 3 killers that the 4 survs you are facing DC most to (on average). Then you're REALLY hitting their greatest fears!
-
Trying to help someone when gates are open is (by definition) bullying and trolling. Value your own survival! Greens and yellows mostly do.
