It helps me: right-click the Taskbar and leave the action menu on top of all windows until the game itself is fully launched, and then you just need to click on the window with the game and then the video will be skipped.

it could be an Easy Anti Cheat issue. Try this: Go to your Dead by Daylight game folder. (Steam -> Steamapps -> common -> Dead by Daylight) Go to the Easy Anti Cheat folder. Run the Setup. exe and press the big blue button that says repair.
