Q: Where did the pre-lobby chat and switch roles button go? Are they coming back?
With the 3.2.0 update, the lobby flow has changed, allowing us to automatically regroup survivors after a match and seamlessly go from playing solo to playing with friends. As a side effect, the switch roles button that would previously appear when playing alone and the pre-lobby chat that would appear in SWF no longer exist. These components would need to be updated to work with the new lobby system (e.g. Prevent someone from switching roles when playing with another person).
The pre-lobby chat should be returning soon. We recognize that it is an important detail when playing with friends without voice chat. The switch roles button may return down the line, but we can't guarantee that it will be returning just yet.

Why'd you guys do it again? You didn't actually say. In my opinion if you're taking away from our experience you should give us a reason.
This might not be a big deal to others but to me its indicative of the mentality here.
You turned 1 button press into, at most, 4 button presses in order to get to the screen i want.
Why was this change made?
Why is it coming back a maybe?
Removing it made no sense, if it made things harder on the back end then that's not our problem its yours and we shouldn't be made to just deal with it.

Call me all these things, I don't care, but I feel that these things need pointed out before it gets worse. Kind of a slippery slope sort of thing. Arguably it has been getting worse and for a while, honestly.
The Nightmare should never have been released the way he was.
The Howling Grounds event was a bug ridden mess that never got fixed on consoles.
And continuing issues with netcode and over stability

Speaking of netcode, ######### is going on over there!? Never, NEVER have I encountered so many unknown errors and NAT issues since I stared playing this game.
I've not touched my router or console network setting in months. Logically this tells me that the issue is originating on your end not mine.

If your goal was to make a stable, fun game full of player convenience than no, you've all got a long, LONG way to go!!
