I really get what you mean on this post. I feel a severe lack of care when it comes to optimization on console. I'll check out the the links todamorrow.
-
Probably a lot tbh. One doesn't simply leave the community. Even when kicked out the game itself lol.
-
I am glad to hear that. I tend to get negative ones. But when I post, it usually is to discuss topics to get to the heart of big issues. I'm glad people are being kind.
-
Oh yes. Especially that loading screen. My playstation dies and revives every time it starts. Remember to take breaks on the forums and Orion is always with you. In there *points to your colon*
-
What kind of responses do you get when discussing with others on here? Not to sound coy. I just like to get down into the nitty gritty.
-
Well we can figure it out together. When your Spirit walks in the room, do you want the survivors to go "oooh, nu it's a Spirit!" Or "Yaaaas gurl Spirit!" "Or "OH *Censored* A SPIRIT?!"
-
Ahhh so it's the troller survivors that we all know and love lol. I don't use Dead Hard due to not wanting to be "that survivor." But that's my own insecurity.
-
We hopefully you will surpass them; and they'll challenge you one day to a forum debate of sorts.
-
What type of look are you going for?
-
Really? Despite having thousands of posts apparently?
-
Nice! I'm a PS4 player myself. I feel the Light orb issue is a weird meme of sorts. But I haven't gotten the full argument. I feel Dead Hard by itself is a bit ridiculous. I personally feel too much importance is put in perks in general.
-
I figured, but was trying to use their template as accurately as possible.
-
You can tell by the level of players you are with/against. Once I started "being toxic" and winning consistently, it got better over time. A lot of matches were needed, but it got consistently better. Just because we aren't explicitly told, we've all been here long enough to tell.
-
I wouldn't say fully universal, but Dead Hard does apply to many situations overall. I don't run it, but I see the frustrations/love with/for it. I think it's in the same boat as my trusty We'll make it, only worse. Most of the time, it applies, but when it doesn't help, it shows. The streamer you mentioned sounds truly…
-
That's very odd indeed. Both killer and survivor have been pretty consistent for me on both ends. Especially once I got it higher. But then again, it's behaviour.
-
I ended up just being as "toxic" as can be until the killer just DC'd or stopped trying altogether. I wasn't a fan of it. But it did work without having to quit myself.
-
It's funny that it's so hard to track that considering the points system that already exists in the game. (Albeit not perfect) but way more accurate than just. Well this person lived!
-
I ended up bullying the killers into just stopping altogether and forcing the wins. I hated it. I felt like I just added to an already existing problem within the game.
-
Come on now. You've probably played DbD more than long enough to tell the difference between good and bad players. In dbd it is pretty obvious.
-
It's not the ranking itself. It's being able to play the game at a level that is not too easy and having the ability to achieve that.
-
Clearly I need to level up. I need to learn how to run the killer whilst doing gens; heal everyone at once; and open the door when I'm the only person left. XD
-
Trust me when I say this. I get it people always blame others for said problems. But I am not blaming my team for this. They are new. New survivors typically fall for things new killers use. But, I am a not new survivor. I would like to be back with the usual level I play with.
-
It's not about the ranking. It's about being able to actually enjoy the experience. Win or lose, the killers I face are just boring. They haven't learned how to be creative and because of a terrible design, I'm having to claw the way out of it.
-
But what fun is it if the 5 gen chase wasn't against a good player? At that point, where is the game? That's like an adult saying "I am so tough. I beat up 4 8-year olds." I am not saying I want campers. I'm saying I'd rather not be stuck playing on Easy Mode and forever be stuck there.
-
A weak link can do that. You are correct. But I have faith in you. It'll all come together so long as you don't give up. And remember you can always come to the forums and post a long thread venting your first world problems. You know, like this one.
-
The testing, yes. But the MMR that was in the test was not the same as what we've been given.
-
Precisely. By the way, do you go by Edgarpoop on dbd? I am almost certain we've played together several times. (Most, if not all the time, successfully). You know...before the March on Coruscant.
-
It will suck for a while my friend. But it's kind of a blessing in disguise. You'll have partners who know what they are doing. And playing alongside them will help you learn on the maps themselves in real time. You'll be making "How I got here," montages one day.
-
Maybe I should have elaborated a little bit more. I didn't want to make you all read an essay. I already know how the system of MMR works. I have played the game for years. I know how to stay alive and do generators. Trust me, the typical tricks are well known. I am looking for a few more out of the box ideas. I appreciate…
-
I understand that already. But one person can only do so much. I understand fully how the system works. I have changed the priority of my play on all fronts. Full run, regular, gen jockey-ing? I play for myself always. But there's no out the gate if the gate never comes.
-
I have been. But even that doesn't work if your teammates can't last long enough to make it in time. Even with Kindred, they are stagnant. It's worse than I remembered. I thought we were all gen jockeys at birth. This experience has proven me wrong.
