@Dr_Loomis I mean then what's wrong with just keeping that and disabling an in game chat? Then it wouldn't effect you at all and other people would be able to make new friends or trash talk at their leisure

@Vox_Nocturne yea disabling is fine. Pc can already disable it. @Dr_Loomis wouldn't you prefer the trash talk to be in a chat you can disable in game rather than getting pinging dms spammed into your messages? Not to mention the dbd team moderates better than Xbox or PS4.

It's not lessening exactly, it's more so limiting it and holding them more accountable. Either way that's only the 1st point. The bigger issue is making friends and playing with people on different mediums. If I play with someone on a different platform and I enjoyed it, how am I meant to ask to play more?

I completely disagree. I live by a server, I get average ping of 50-90 now. My internet is 490 download (I remembered wrong earlier lol), 23 upload, and 42 latency. It takes so incredibly long for my inputs to go in I can't even fathom how BHVR decided to green light this. Like I full on can't play non-m1 killers now.…

Yea I'm curious if they're going to re-release for next gen, or leave it just as a backwards compatible game, or some type of hybrid between those.

I do appreciate that. But I guess I really was hoping a developer or community manager would see this and give me a more direct answer. Like I said they've started harassing my friends and DDOSing my home.
