To my knowledge and in their recent live stream, they are giving out temp bans for people abusing dc's constantly, but yes I agree that DCs can be quite annoying early on in the game too. Also yeah it's the worst when they leave in those last 5 seconds or during the loading screen.

With games auto-cancelling, I'm assuming no one would lose pips, offerings, or items. This post just presented an unfinished idea that was bothering me personally and to see if others felt the same.
