Gotta agree with you. Those icons look much better than the new ones. Everything on the UI (both the new and old UI) are 2D icons. Adding images/renders of the Survivors feels totally out of place to me.

Got a similar issue. Played a match as survivor and there was no ambient music and hook screams were completely silent too. PC too btw. Edit: The map was Mother's Dwelling. Should add that.
