I understand how it can be frustrating or "stressful" for killer mains to play the game, especially against four sweaty survivors. Frustration is just about as far as it goes though. As a killer, you control the match. No matter what happens, you are GUARANTEED at least one sacrifice / kill regardless of how you make it happen. On the other hand, as a survivor, there is a chance that you will be that unlucky player to rank down, miss out on points, and have your match experience cut short. As a killer, YOU have the power to eliminate whoever you want the moment you spot a survivor and honestly it doesn't take much more than tunneling and face camping. No matter how experienced survivors are, pallets will run out and you will eventually catch up. Not including deaths from Mori or NOED. Not every team is altruistic enough to body block and even then you are given extra in the process. And there's nothing wrong with that on your end right ? Of course not, it's your objective. The objective for survivors is to complete 5 generators and open the exits, in order for that to happen, each survivor needs to take turns distracting the killer. When this process is done efficiently, at least two survivors are likely to escape. With each elimination of an ally, these objectives become more difficult to complete, especially if someone decides to disconnect early in the match. If two players disconnect or are killed ridiculously quickly, that's five generators to finish, or a waiting game between the last two players. Even if that last survivor gets the hatch escape, that killer would have definitely earned a considerable amount of xp. SWF seems to be the only other option besides using a sweaty build or bringing items and offerings to anticipate this scenario. I'm all for " everyone gets to do as they please " and killers can definitely kill. I don't define my own skill by whether or not I escape and that's the case for any survivor main. it's irritating when I'm punished by a killer with " DBD PTSD " that entitles them to snatch a 4k by any means necessary. Immersion is probably the only effective "defense" against killers, combined with precision focus to get great skill checks on gens, scouting the map, and making the right decisions to avoid being spotted. For these reasons, my "sweaty" build includes kindred, botany, self care and we'll make it / (spine chill) ; sometimes bringing a med kit with a BP offering. I've never used DS, BT, or any second chance perks simply because I can respect a killer that can manage to apply pressure equally and effectively enough to disrupt gen repair progress despite my best efforts. And yet, unless my three teammates are anything above useful, I'm not guaranteed to make any progress in the match. Survivors have now turned into SURVIVE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY to avoid being eliminated early on and losing rank. Entitled killers are always the ones who aren't satisfied unless they get a 4k, same goes for entitled survivors who aren't satisfied if they don't escape. What's unfair is being cut off from the match by a scummy killer after only looping a few times and dropping one or two pallets. Survivors will never be able to punish a killer by simply doing their own objective unless all four work as a dream team to thwart scummy gameplay. And no I will not just quit survivor and main killer because that's a pathetic and juvenile suggestion. The real issue is the unbalanced game itself which can only be fixed by the developers who unfortunately don't seem to make it a priority. Hopefully the community can learn to accept the game as it is and just play for fun, regardless of how each match goes. There will always be another one to load into. It all depends on your perspective and whether or not you let a video game ruin your day : )

  • I still don't get why everyone is so put on about being better than the other instead of just playing the game casually. I get into arguments with my siblings about the killer / survivor superiority bullshit but then I remember it's just a video game and I win the argument by simply saying I only play for fun lol Goes to…
  • Excellent explanation. Everyone just needs to chill out and not take this game seriously. As a survivor main, I can appreciate when a killer is able to apply pressure on all four survivors ( sweaty build or not ) and complete their objective ( SACRIFICING the survivors ). After having time to successfully loop, unhook and…
