While I don't think that punishing him less for PotD is the best idea, I think that rewarding him more for using RoJ would be better. I think Spirit doesn't enjoy killing the survivors, she just wanted revenge against her father and signed up for this whole shebang unwillingly in order to get the revenge she sought.
