I unironically liked how difficulty it was for survivors. I dislike indoor maps but I like how this map presents a challenge to me. I wanted to hop on and record my last time playing this map but I have no passion for DBD as of late...

Roughly 35-40 minutes. Had a game on Midwich during the 4th Anniversary event vs. a Wraith. The game started off normally, but our gen progress was slow because the map was new at the time and Wraith can easily patrol the gens on that map due to how tiny it is. Despite this, we held our own in loops and managed to get down…

As killer, I slug them. As survivor, I run around them in circles until one crow appears above them
-
But in my experience, most of the games I had during the 5th anniversary event had 4 or 5 cakes in them and I walked away with 225k bloodpoints on average. Yeah it's annoying that the cakes were a lot more rare this year compared to last year but I was still able to make a profit from other people sharing their cakes.

honestly, if we really want to hold the devs accountable, then the community has to stop buying the chapters until the game is more stable. our money speaks more than our voices
-
roughly $25 I bought Laurie for DS in my first week of playing this game in September 2019. In mid 2020, I bought the Stranger Things Chapter just for Second Wind and Inner Strength. For the most part, I don't care about paid cosmetics or cosmetics in general. I typically wear default or prestige clothes. Sometimes I do…

It already annoys me so much that people dc in the games. But I pull my hair out when someone dc's early game with 4 or 5 cakes in the lobby
-
Only 6 on Bill and some other single digit amount of cakes on my other characters that I haven't leveled up yet. I got pretty unlucky with my bloodwebs a lot of the time.
-
I play on Switch and while I can't speak for other Switch users, I am able to play the game perfectly fine.
-
I'm probably the only person in the whole world who uses "sweaty" or "tryhard" as a connotation for an extremely good player. I don't mean it as a negative to that person.
-
I want to play huntress but it's a nightmare to use her on console against pc players. Before crossplay, it was tolerable because everyone had dead angles on the joystick. I could turn off crossplay but the queues would be insanely long, 3x longer than before crossplay, in my experience.
-
I won't lie, when I saw this post first come up a few months ago, I thought it'd be left in the dust. Thankfully though, there are 80 pages worth of people who agree with the OP on all these issues.
-
I think those people put their own personal experience of a match over the value you can get from the said match. It doesn't matter if there's an opportunity to get up to 200k bp with those cakes. If those survivors get a bad spawn, get downed first, see a certain killer, etc they pull the plug and waste everyone's time…

No dc penalty = results like this, it seems.

I got this error after an hour of searching The matchmaking process failed. Reason: churnExceeded then I restarted the matching making and I got an instant lobby with crossplay on

USA West Coast. Nintendo Switch
-
Thought it was just me. after finishing a game against a ghostface, I queue up immediately... then I sit in the lobby simulator for 20 minutes. I eventually tried to cancel the matchmaking but the game disabled the cancel button AFTER I pressed it, forcing me to reset. Before all this happened, I've had instant survivor…
-
Yes, so much yes. At best, it consistently stays at 30fps but once in a blue moon, I get a laggy skill check because of game's performance
-
yeah the game is very dark on Switch, it's really annoying. I only play docked though so I can at least tinker with my monitor settings just for DBD but that can only do so much...

Balanced Landing Lightweight Hope
-
I do it all the time. It's perfect for a game like DBD where literally anything can happen in a match.
-
Bill for 2 reasons: I leveled him up as my first character when I started playing for Borrowed Time, and 2, I don't buy cosmetics and he doesn't have any for sale. Needless to say, I won't hesitate to earn a time exclusive cosmetic with him without putting a single penny into the store (aka current rift.) Wraith because…

Still using DS in all my games. 8 games out of 10, I was the only DS user and I expect that to not change. But this was a MUCH needed change imo.
-
Immersion is the real boring playstyle.
-
Ignoring totems, healing, searching chests and unhooking. Just do the gens and get up outta the trial. Rinse and Repeat for the next one. That's what I consider to be Gen Rushing.

For those who don't get the point of this thread https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/231441/i-am-so-so-tired-of-camping-and-tunneling-being-the-killer-norm-these-days#latest

"I’ve had two games against two different Pigs where they would down someone, put RBT on them, and then with ONE GEN DONE and no pressure at all they would chase the Active RBT survivor no matter what. Me trying to bodyblock included. I mean isn’t the point of Pig to waste survivor’s time with RBT while they chase the…

couldn't have said it better myself lol
-
Not to mention, no bloodlust, killers had a slower vault speed and entity couldn't block windows
-
Kates farm me on hook without BT. Pigs tunnel people in my games with a RBT active. Leatherface lives in basement.
-
get ready for every survivor and their casual SWF to have DS in every game lol
-
Luckily, I've never been in that situation. Either myself or my other teammate tries to save each other and push objectives. Once one of us gets caught on death hook, the other goes to the hatch and leaves.
-
first time experiencing it haha

Survivor-sided. Solo queue player Before crossplay, I hovered around rank 1. Now I hover around rank 3-4. (console player meeting sweaty pc players) 300hrs. I take month long breaks for the sake of my mental health. Played since September 2019. Watched the game since late 2017. Bill, p3, almost all perks Survivor main
-
it'll be in the game for a year, calling it now
-
Where did I imply or indicate in my post that people should disregard the dumb stuff the devs do to the game?
-
zubatlel: I love watching his looping skills as survivor and how flashy he can be. I also like how he gets the most out of his unconventional builds as both killer and survivor. tru3ta1ent: great advice on the game, enjoy watching his killer and survivor gameplay. He practices what he preaches when he talks about the…

I prefer kindred/bond/alert over spine chill whenever I decide to use one or the other, but yeah, I see your point. It won't hurt to try it out in my builds the future lol
-
I've played the game since 2019. Laurie was my second survivor where I unlocked her teachables. Never used OoO because I'm a stealth player... I might as well use it once...
-
yeah, I've noticed it in the past. I can only hope that the same thing won't happen here but what can you do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Unfortunately, those dc'ers will never answer your question.
-
add Play with your Food 3 stacks to that
-
Nah, this is just a summary of what both sides complain about in this forum. And the complaints will never end.
-
And this applies to Urban Evasion and Spine Chill. Both perks get so much hate than they should because of all the bad players using them in a non-productive way. (spine chill: running around a gen when the light flickers constantly, urban evading in the corner while the killer is on the other side of the map)
-
Doctor, Ghostface and Pig Ghostface especially. I hate fighting stealth killers in general even though I can hear GF's footsteps sometimes for the most part. Pig for her stealth and just how I see so many pigs tunnel people with active traps on. Lastly, Doctor purely because of static blast. I always have to hover near a…
-
I literally thought this just happens to me. I've had so many pigs tunnel me even though I had a reverse bear trap and ds is active that I lost count
-
I wish they didn't nerf the perk. I found it interesting to go against. Admittedly, it was sometimes annoying to deal with Sloppy Butcher and Thanatophobia together but it was a threat and you had to adjust your strategy of risking your precious time healing through slowdown or doing the gen through slowdown while injured.…
-
My main go-to build when I'm not doing any challenges or testing other builds. Decisive Strike Dead Hard/Balanced Landing Iron Will Resilience DS and DH are self-explanatory. Iron Will and Resilience because half the time, no one heals me off hook when the killer is far away (despite me healing them after unhooking earlier…

Part of me wants to see this video so we can verify if the Myers really was doing shady stuff as you say...
-
When I bodyblock a survivor and they drop the pallet on me. Meanwhile, when I'm in a situation where I need to get bodyblocked, they just stare at me or run away also looping the killer around a hooked teammate. It's one of the reasons why I put on kindred
