The same has also happened to me. Received a pip after a match with Deathslinger on Dead Dawg Saloon. The game reflected the progress bar and receiving the pip, but my actual rank did not progress. My rank still shows no pips. Had no problems before the update today.

This is also occurring on Switch. Was a rank 4 with one pip. Played one match and now am back to a 5, despite the game telling me I black pipped for the match.
