After some researching I've come to the conclusion that it's actually Xbox Live that is the issue. There has been a massive increase of players online because of the coronavirus self-isolation and it's caused a surge in the Xbox live servers. So all achievements at the moment, not just DBD are having difficulty registering…

I've seen a few posts regarding adept Deathslinger achievement not procking. And yeah the saloon one is 110% bugged on everything. Just want my achievements man..so upset.

Same! I've bloody played Deathslinger for 4 goddamn hours and I got the merciless 2 times in a row and I still didn't get the achievement either time. Also my Bound and Downed achievement isn't progressing either after 3% so I'm just getting angry at this point
