The game keeps crashing with an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION message

24 hour matchmaking locked because of crash
Yeah so I've crashed almost daily since the patch and this time it's a 24 hour matchmaking lock? It should've been only 20min. Is that supposed to be how it is? Would be nice if I could actually play the game that I paid for without being punished for something that's out of my control.

Crashing randomly daily since 5.1.1 patch
I've been having game crashes I've been having very frequent but random crashes in the game ever since the 5.1.1 patch from what I can tell. I'm on Steam (PC).
