The icon does not load in when using the perk, and the perk only activates when the icon appears, unless 9 seconds have already passed in which case the perk does nothing.
When succesfully hitting survivors with the whip at any point the visible character proceeds to run in 1 direction while the actual survivor becomes invisble and cannot be hit/seen, sometimes persisting the whole match.
