  I should probably mention that "on their first match" was only literal for one of them, but the others were all relatively new, with the highest rank being rank 8, and since we died to them…

  I would recommend reporting them on Steam or whatever platform you are playing on. Steam takes Hate speech very seriously and would not let anyone get away with that.
