I think a lot of the recent hate/complaints is the event's fault though Ghoul + Remote pallet break is genuinely unbearable0 -

Casual =/= Bad Casual players will eventually reach the soft mmr cap and be put with people with thousands and thousands of hours who play exclusively 4 slowdown Ghoul/Blight and so on. It's not…-1 -

I think this is just a bug with this map, I've also had this bug happen to me too many times as Survivor.3
