Well, even if they made the killer role unappealing to play, I think many players would still prefer it over survivor. There isn't really anything special about survivor in 2v8, sadly.5 -

Make survivor more appealing. Most people want 2v8 specifically to play killer, which creates the issue of extremely long queue times.12
