Thanks friend! Losing BBQ was indeed terrible for this game, but at least it revealed the sacred words of Lightborn. I never play killer without it :) As for mine, I choose Knight because I was playing him recently. Mostly I was splitting my time as killer between Freddy, Knight and SM. He might be my next main.

I don't have information about Freddy, but afaik they didn't promise anything after his rework about 5 years ago. People were disappointed by the result, but I don't believe they ever promised to go back and revisit him on any kind of time table, nor did they make any measures that they said would be considered temporary…

Well, my fellow 2018 DBD player, my best memories from when I started playing are, naturally, Freddy. Nothing in DBD was as fun as playing Old Freddy, and nothing will ever come close. He was my killer, my reason for playing. I loved that character, and I still love him.

The SM execution happened recently, and these days the Forums do not have the "killer heavy" aspect that it used to have. But it was definitely the case back in the day. One example that can be given is when people were pushing for Decisive Strike to be nerfed, during the DS + UB meta. You would constantly see such posts.
