Unfortunately there isn't much they can do about tunneling or camping without using perks. I understand the frustration but people will camp and tunnel regardless.1 -

It looks like every time a side gets a big nerf or rework people cry that the devs are pandering to one side which isn't the case they're doing what they feel is best for the game.1
