I agree and I always play a lot nicer and purposely miss hits and stuff but it is rank 20s on both sides going against rank 1s.

True I guess having a minute for both sides to tweak their loadouts would work but at that point you might as well not bother with locking character selections.

I feel that killers would lobby dodge more but I guess if they see a last second switch they would just dc in the loading screen anyway. I am unsure if there a solution that would make the majority of both sides happy. I personally think both should be locked just for consistency.

Look it seems to me you are just arguing for the sake of arguing. If you are already using the saw then you can't use bamboozle, there are very few windows you can mind game as you described but who knows maybe I'm not that great at mind games.

Yeah but that is with a perk and I doubt people would put bamboozle on leatherface anyway. Maybe in a couple weeks people will find better counterplay for him.

I think the chest blinding was a design thing not a bug since since the camera wasn't in the head for a lot of killers. I might be wrong on that one though.

They Nerfed him when he was originally released. Not sure what the complaint was he was pretty bad but people review bombed the game.

I think it is okay for people to be mad at the devs when they don't acknowledge issues, don't do what they said they would do or give next to no information on what is happening i.e. console optimisation, make bugs worse with each patch.

Sorry this doesn't really answer the original question since I don't really know how to answer it. The main reason people say that rank doesn't matter is you can get to high ranks just by playing for long enough especially since the rank reset changes.

The Problem with that statement is they are rarely used to deter tunneling they are used as Scott described in the video.

I think that would get abused. Just an example I hit the unhooker and start the chase the unhooked survivor could just body block and both get away. What you're asking for is just free bt. I understand nobody likes getting tunneled. Unfortunately I can't think of a way to mitigate it without the method being abused.

I get that people like seeing themselves progress but I've seen posts on both sides saying it's too easy to rank up it has also been the opinion of plenty of players that rank doesn't really mean anything. I've said this before on another post but toxicity is probably equal to both sides. Survivors being toxic gets talked about more due to there being four of them in a match.

To my knowledge they are not hiding ranks they are just scraping the current system for an mmr system.

Unfortunately there isn't much they can do about tunneling or camping without using perks. I understand the frustration but people will camp and tunnel regardless.

I recommend whispers, bbq, nurses and a perk of your choice. As for addons I recommend flower babushka and manna grass braid for the reduced wind up or oak haft and bandaged haft for cooldown.

A competitive game doesn't mean there are professional players or tournaments. However I personally feel that it is down to individual players on how serious they want to take the game and thay goes for every game.

You just have to play him differently on console I guess. I agree that he is worse on console but so are most of the killers. Posts like this pop up every time a new killer comes out. People aren't taking the time to learn the best way to play them on console imo.

The couple games I played with him on ps4 last night felt pretty good. The frame rate and turning during demon dash are fine.
